How the hell did we not jump into this trade? We had a lot more valuable pieces to give, and all we end up is Prigioni and KJ McDaniels while the Thunder and Blazers completely rebuild- all for the pipe dream of signing KD 2016, when Dwight will be 32 and possibly done.
Maybe we thought our pieces, mainly D-Mo and a lotto pick, were more valuable than Knight. Anyone confirm the Suns giving up the Lakers pick in this deal?
Dragic, Thomas, Ennis, Plumlee, Lakers lottery pick for Knight and 2 late first (2017 & 19) Poor Suns. I mean, Knight is nice, 2 future late first are all right I guess. But they gave up so much, so many assets.

Couldn't afford paying both Midletton and Knight in the summer and made a choice to keep the better SG. Suns overpaid WAY too much probably for PR reasons - after losing their star player gotta give someting back to the fans. The fact that the Bucks took MCW over the LA pick leads me to believe than an offer of NOP+ Jones if was offered was turned down and only DMO could have done it (without the NOP pick). Morrey thought it was Too much since Knight is a RFA and will get PAID. The backcourt of Bledsoe and Knight has the potential to be a trainwreck. I hope Hornacek finds a way to make it work but it will take a lot of time. The same agents angle is seriously alarming ..hope kidd doesn't just bring everyone who has the same agent to the team..hmm..
I am also interested to know what fat Embiid thinks deep down about his team again tanking and selling out for picks. Selling what was projected to be a cornerstone of the new Philly for an unknown pick. Can't see an serious FA wanting to come there in the future or their talent deciding to stay there - if they can help it.
Wow, hmm, interesting. I've always been a fan of Knight, since college, but I think he's become very overrated if a team traded a Lakers pick, the Plumlee and I.Thomas for him.
