If we had gotten Dragic i would have been all for it but, honestly Brew and Smith were the "deadline" moves.

And too i question how worn out Harden is going to get but, Morey has a plan

If KJ McDaniels pays off, they will have 3 wing defenders that are 6'6+

Pirgioni is a veteran that can shoot threes and pass the ball

At the end of the day they still have the important assets.

In the word of text messages, 40 character limits and reality TV people has zero sense of foresight.

they'd rather us be the Nets 3 years ago.

Yeah, the core team and the little flexibility we got is going to get us out of the first round, I hope.

You should be happy, otherwise if we are getting a better PG today we are trading away DMo.

You all overestimated that people actually wanted a rookie that has proved nothing and another player that is coming off a major injury.

Then you all over valued a #14 draft pick which has middling value in this league.

Would you rather trade DMo? You'd be complaining about that I'm sure

So when the Blazers throw Mathews, Afflalo and Batum come playoff time hard at Harden everytime he is on the floor, sometimes sending strong double teams, who is going to create offense for the Rockets?

Maybe we give these guys at least one game in a Rockets uniform before passing final judgment.

We just need a point guard who can make a post entry pass reliably. That's all I ask for.

Nobody. That's why these moves don't make sense. They're not bad or anything, but they just don't make a lot of sense.

We needed to come out with a guy who can run an offense, and I'm not sure we did.

We not only failed to make a big move, but we also got rid of the one player that DaDakota wanted to keep - so everyone is equally unhappy now.

    Win-win situation.

Ok, I hate to say this but most of you are simply not looking at this the right way. Although I am not enamored with the Priggs move on the surface, after some thought I understand what is happening here. This officially tells us all that James Harden is our point guard. The Rockets are NOT going to make the same mistake as Phoenix did. Harden is an MVP candidate because he REQUIRES the ball in his hands. EVERY SINGLE POINT GUARD with a name that was moved today was a shoot first point guard. Adding any of them takes away from Harden and could cause issue. They found the only point guard available without giving up any important asset that can come in and be a true point guard... More importantly, one that can spot up and shoot the three. Sure he's 37 years old but we only need him for half a season.

Secondly, all you need to do is get on Twitter and type in KJ McDaniels to see how PISSED Sixer fans are about this move... However, for basketball reasons, this is brilliant for one reason only. This guy is a true, young lockdown defender. One that can come in and help the bench as a backup SG to cover the guys that really give us trouble. When we play the Clippers, who eats us alive every friggin game? Not the stars on that team, its always Jamal Crawford. So now we have a SG who has the length and shot blocking ability to match up there. Put him on the floor with Brewer at SF and Smith at PF and you got yourself a lockdown defense team. A guy that can cover Wes Matthews or Klay Thompson when Harden is running point.

Yea, end of the day it doesn't seem exciting but they still have their lottery pick and one of the first picks in the second round. I had hopes for Canaan, so to me that's the only loss but he was not producing so we gave up really him and Denver's 2nd round pick for some really nice hole fillers.

    I'm right on this.

Not DMO, but TJones. With all those 2nd rounders Portland sent and T. Robinson for Afflalo, why couldn't we get Afflalo, who would be that "creator" for us, wouldn't he?

I feel like we will pick up Perkins after he's bought out by the Jazz.

    unimpressive....

a deadline that saw Dragic, IT, Ennis, Knight, Plumlee, MCW, and a few others who could have boasted our squad get moved...

and we 'upgrade' from Cannan/Shved to Prigioni/McDaniels..... at the cost of 3 second rounders....

    unimpressive....

where's the center? a center that can give a productive 15-20mpg thats it, nothing more. he can foul out for all i care, just need a real center out there. dorsey would be perfect for spot minutes then.
