    KJ is a perfect fit.

I think there is something seriously wrong with Dwight at this point- because I'd have to believe that we'd have gone all in this season if he was healthy. Sigh... I guess we can look forward to another first round exit.

When we play Dallas , Dirk will feel young again. Cuban might feel guilty over not resigning VC .

You say that like someone that believed Canaan was ever going to see the floor again as a Rocket. Have you been watching the games? I don't know if the new guys will add value but we didn't give up anything in Canaan. If we hadn't traded him he would have been waived eventually. For whatever reason he wasn't going to see the court again with our team.

Hopefully KJ can keep Harden and Ariza from playing so many minutes

I really hope these moves make the rockets a better team, although I just don't see it. A 37 y/o PG and a rookie wing? Will these guys ever even see the floor (exce

Terry and Prigioni, two dinosaurs, are the backup point guards. That's pretty annoying.

I honestly don't know how KJ fits. Don't we already have Nick Johnson?

I mean I like him as a young player and all, but I don't see how he helps in the short or long term.

Why not go after a guy like Randy Foye? Only 3 mil on the books and he can actually move without dust falling off of him (cough cough, Prigioni, cough cough).

Sigh - I know Batman - and honestly I don't get it, after watching him perform so well as a starter when Bev was out, it baffled me that we kept running Terry out there as backup PG, when we had Terry's shooting and better dribbling in Canaan.

There had to be something behind the scenes that the org did not like about Canaan - it just makes no sense to get OLDER and slower at PG when we are in the Western conference.

Meh - it is not that big of a deal, I doubt we get much out of these guys either, maybe 12 mpg out of Prig I guess.

    This.

Are we flexible enough to move his ass to somewhere else? Let these MOFs follow him to the next sports franchise he manages.

Yep. Still #3 in the west with good draft picks and young players.

We weren't going to blow up the team for Goran and Lawson

b**** because we tinker too much.

b**** when we don't tinker enough.

Moves we make are always dumb and won't help us.

Moves that every other team make are always smart and will propel them to contender status.

It's funny, because a lot of those "stand pat" advocates are the ones b****ing.

Exactly. I don't see how people still think so highly of Morey at this point.

Prigs is a good backup point - he can shoot the ball well and run an offense. He is an underrated passer and smart player he has a 3:1 assist to turnover ratio and a career TS% of 60.7 while shooting 41.4% from 3. I value him as the backup to Bev (though I wish it was someone better than Bev) over the options we had prior (Canaan, Terry, Johnson)

KJ is not a good shooter but another athletic freak that can help that second unit keep running while being a a shot blocker. the dude is averaging 1.3 bpg from the SG spot. We do not have a true SG backup for Harden right now KJ fixes that. A huge concern is his shooting though but I am guessing that second unit is going to be a complete run and gun unit with him, Brewer, Jones and Smith with Prigs running the point.

People may not like it because it wasn't the big name but considering some of the other things the Rockets kept their lotto pick and the NY 2nd and other nice young players while still getting better. The team is more balanced now.

Now the only thing that could make it better is if they were able to get like McGee or Perkins once they are bought out.

    We lost flexibility, actually.
