The season doesn't end now, there's still a couple months left in time for DH to get in shape.

If Dwight is healthy, he would eat BL alive and we would probably stomp all over OKC since Kendrick Perkins who seems to always give DH a hard time won't be around anymore. If Dwight isn't healthy, then it doesn't matter if we get Dragic or whomever else this year, the season would be done because the Rox have a gaping 20M hole on the roster.

Eitherway, standing pat is probably the best option, a small move like getting Jack would be nice but except for snagging a bargain like Ty Lawson IMHO it'd be better to wait until 2016 and look for FAs then.

    Well, it's not that simple.

    1) We don't know what shape Dwight will be in if or when he gets back

    2) Even if he comes back 100%, he'll most likely be on a minutes restriction. So in other words, we have no choice but to play Dorsey

    3) Dwight is foul prone. When he picks up quick fouls or goes out the game, Dorsey is our only option. D-Mo is NOT a center and too small to bang with bigger, stronger guys.

So in essence, if we're serious about championships then getting a backup center must be top priority. If Morey thinks he can gamble with our backup center position, then we'll be disappointed again come playoff time. I hope Morey's smart enough to know the Western Conference teams that give us problems are the ones that have bigger frontlines. Standing pat can't be a option, especially when Morey handpicked Dorsey this offseason knowing he was garbage

That trade makes OKC a pretty scary 8 seed. Not that they weren't already.

Throw in K-Pap and two 2nd rounders or Canaan and one 2nd rounder to Brooklyn, for Jack to the Rockets.

A backup center is just that, a backup. If Dwight is down then it doesn't whoever backup center you get, the Rox will get owned by big men unless DMo and Smith step up big time, no backup will save the squad it has to be a starting caliber player.

That's why I don't get all the "we must get dragic at all costs" crowd. If Dwight is healthy, we can compete against anyone. If Dwight isn't healthy adding Dragic doesn't matter. There is no sense to adding him to the squad when he is 29 years old and will screw up our KD plan. Ty Lawson oth might be worth it despite losing out on KD because of his age and cheap contract, esp. if he doesn't cost DMo to get.

    Hope they do this,

    1) Make the lotto pick better.

    2) Lopez is a horribly soft and (oft injured) player, IMHO getting him makes OKC worse in the long run which means bigger chance of KD leaving, in the East or to us woudl still be good.

Polls are now closed on the East Coast. Only Western Conference teams can do trades for the next hour.

    No.

As of right now it is Dorsey on Perkins....
At playoff time it might be Howard v Lopez. I aint even worried.
