Easy to say when two of the best players in the league agree to sign with you and pretty sure that Wade guy was drafted by the Heat.
No matter what people say, a Dragic/Wade/Deng/Bosh/Whiteside healthy team in the East this year could do some damage if they can build some chemistry before the playoffs.
I would love to know the details (when?) on those future first round picks from Miami. Dragic, Old Man Wade, Deng, Bosh and Whiteside = playoffs for the next 2-3 years. Those picks shouldn't be very good. I might sound like a homer but the NOP pick plus a proven, young Terrence Jones is a more appealing offer.
For a contending team, how many more rookies and developing young players do the Rockets want to carry on their roster? Johnson could be another season away, Capela is years away. Pap & Canaan are young. Who knows?, Llull's team might win the Euroleague this year. There's the Italian kid. Add a second round draft pick or two next year 'cause Morey's going to go shopping there. Maybe giving up a protected 2017 wouldn't be so bad?

Infamous "list" from Dragic's camp reportedly includes 5-7 teams, yet only NYK, LAL, MIA are being reported. Is there some sort of contract stipulation that prevents Dragic from being able to come out and say these things himself? I know in that interview he mentioned there wasn't a list. This all just seems so agent-driven.
Because it is all agent driven. I guarantee you Dragic would have no problem playing PG for "Coach Kevin" and a championship contender. Duffy just wants to maximize his earnings potential.
I was going to say the same thing about getting in a 3 way with OKC and BKN. Maybe we could steal someone from one of them.
Not Sacramento Not Houston Not Boston Assume you can cross of teams like Brooklyn, LAC, GSW and Dallas (ball dominant guards already in place) What other 4 teams are there? I guess Indiana is ok with him but that seems weird to me.
Good call. Kings got a very favorable contract with him but it runs until 2017. I like the idea of giving up the NOP pick and Shved for Brandon Knight. Lock him up to a QO at the end of this year with a commitment to sign/not sign him after we find out where Durant goes in 2016. Or is that not how RFA works?
Same, but the work only gets done very slowly when I'm constantly refreshing and going to bball-reference and shamsports every few minutes.
Actually, it sounds like Phoenix is trying to drive up the price. "See, we have this offer in hand from Miami. No, really!"
