He's the PG because we don't have another ball handler/traditional PG. If you mean that he will always be PG by virtue of having the ball in his hands a lot you could say the same thing about Kobe, Lebron, Jordan, or any other 2/3 MVP level player. I promise you no one wants a legit PG more than Harden does.

I think the notion that Dragic doesn't want to share the ball with a MVP candidate is silly.

I also call BS on the "list." And I call BS on Dragic wanting to stick it to the Rockets. No reasonable player would be that pissed about a team offering three years but not four.

Only my somewhat educated opinion as a longtime Rockets fan. #noinsider

The Suns either want two 1st-round picks or a 1st rounder plus a "young player with potential" for Dragic. (Via Yahoo!)

Sounds like the Rockets are one of the few teams that can meet this request and/or have the ability to at least bring other options in the form of a bag of tricks

QUESTION: Is there anyone in the upcoming draft we should look out for?

There has to be a PG available with potential in the back end of the lottery. This seems more likely that we'll keep the premium picks (NOP and NY 2nd) and bring in stop gaps with at most one more year on their agreement.

I agree..especially now that Dragic is being difficult making bad statements in the press along with rejecting teams like the Celtics..this might turn into a min fire sale..especially now that Reggie Jackson might be on the trading market

All this Dragic stuff sounds a lot like another Chandler Parson's fluff piece to get his value up. Making those statements, etc... that's uncharacteristic of the humble Goran Dragic. I'm not buying all this crap. Don't list the team that wants you the most... is like that girl in middle school who you ignored cause you liked her. Ef him Morey, you drafted and made this dude own him!!! He ain't no James Harden! It would be a privilege to work with someone like the Beard. I hope he does land in LA, where Kobe will make him his biat#h! We need another "playmaker" not necessarily a point guard.

You hear anything about Harden's preference for an elite PG? Not a challenge simply curious. A young Jason Terry would be the perfect complement for Harden IMO.

We dodged a bullet by not trading for Tragic. He would have been a problem playing second fiddle to Harden. He'd never be happy here.

No. I also haven't heard anything about his preference for an elite forward or center but I can still reasonably guess he'd have that preference.

Yeah, Goran has been disappointing. If he had been disgruntled by the 3-guard arrangement, he should have spoken up earlier to his coach or GM. Where's his leadership? How can he turn against PHX and the fanbase after the team had bent over backwards to hire his brother Zoran?

It may be a godsend that we're not getting Dragic. I would have wanted him as a rental but maybe he would do an Asik and not play his best. Please, Morey, let's move on from him.

According to Amick's reports, Dragic did, but they peed on those promises.

I seriously doubt Dragic ends up in Houston at this point, but if he does get dealt, please let it be to the Eastern Conference. The last thing Houston needs is another quality team to deal with in the West.

We have no other choice, even though he is not ready to make a big contribution this year. He can help us out though. Let's see what McHale does.

I don't know about that. They've had the opportunity to give the guy minutes, but McHale has opted to give all the backup PG minutes to Terry. Unless Beverly or Terry get hurt again, I can't see Canaan getting many minutes this season.
