Phoenix is going to get pennies on the dollar at this point.

The ENTIRE LEAGUE is praying that Dragic or an equivalent baller doesn't get traded to Huston right now..it's sooo obvious because it makes ZERO sense as to why they keep shooting why it wouldn't work. Non Sense

Boston seems better positioned going forward than LA and NYK, both on "the list".

Why did Boston unload Rondo and now they are trying on Dragic?

    Rondo wanted to leave Boston?

Going forward in maybe 3-4 years atleast. Dragic will be due for a new contract then.

Knicks atleast have Melo and Dragic and Melo can push that team into playoffs.

Boston cannot compete with the LA and NY market either....with all else being equal.

If I am picking between three ****ty teams and NY LA Bos are the three destinations, I am picking the first two 99% of the time.

If Dragic isn't interested in Boston then I'll be surprised if he's interested in the Kings and not sure what the Lakers will do for him...so all of a sudden the Rockets look like they have just as strong a chance as anyone else with probably the best position to pull off a trade that may interest the Suns it appears

He enjoyed his time here as a Rocket, he's sour over how the free agent talks went (with the Rockets focused on picks and cap space). And feeling like an asset (which he was..the right move at the time for the Rockets moving forward.

Rockets are in much a different position..they have two stars and would like a big three. Dragic can be that guy. Rockets wouldn't make this deal without having the full max with a no trade clause deal on the table.

I would under no circumstance give up DMo.

They have 2-3 months to re-sell Dragic and maybe even hash out an extension. Rockets go deep into the playoffs or even win it all with Dragic, Harden, Ariza, DMo, Howard, Brewer, Smith, Beverley, Terry & a backup C. I think he'll stick around.

    DMo's new BFF

Yeah, guess you missed the point. I did not dispute the rumor that he didn't want to go to Boston.

Rather whatever the reason is that he doesn't want to go to Boston, that reason is not the winning, or lack thereof if he's happy to go lose in a Knicks or Lakers uni.

I still think that the fact that everyone is reporting the Rockets are not progressing in trade talks is a bad sign.

I wonder if the Rockets made their pitch but Phoenix is looking to accommodate Dragic before sending him somewhere he doesn't want to be.

Not sure they would feel compelled to accommodate him, considering the way he is badmouthing them today. He's making Phoenix's FO look unattractive to prospective FA's.

Don't get why all of these bad teams are after Dragic. Sure he's good, but he's not going to move the needle for the Knicks, Lakers, or Kings. Why would they even bother giving up any future assets for him?

Trading Terry means more playing time for Dragic, not Canaan.

Don't knock a guy's rep for posting something about a trade that might not be true. He put a question mark by it, not sure if it was true or not.

Also, if the Rockets aren't progressing in talks with the Suns it's that Morey won't get in a bidding war with himself and likely has a firm offer on the table. Let it play out and don't worry about the minute to minute changes. The Rockets are still a good team regardless if a trade is made or not.
