Stephen A hasn't posted anything on twitter in a few hours. My guess is this is just someone with the old "I Just heard on ESPN GUYZZZ!"
That's true. I'm fine with people that have leverage dictating where they will go, especially if it's their first and last "big" contract. But I think Boston is a fine place for him (judging by his list), and for him to brush them off so quickly... it's as if he thinks he is a better player than he really is.
Guys, please stop with the Stephen A stuff. These are random click-bait accounts begging for RTs. The likely scenario is he mentioned something like that deal on First Take as speculation, and then clickbait/troll Twitter folks turn it into an actual "rumor". Happens all the time. If Smith actually was saying that deal in a serious way, then A) he'd probably put it on his own Twitter, since it's a big scoop, B) ESPN would run with the story and C) way more people would've actually heard it and tweeted about it. When the source is easily traceable to one of these nonsense accounts... 99% of the time, they're probably just begging for attention.
