Does a player who gets bought out get to choose where he goes, or is there an order like when a player is waived?

Then we'd better get Markieff back in the trade, and a verbal agreement on an extension from Dragic.

No way Morey gets cousins. But I will go down on him if he pulls it off.

It would take Philly giving us a nice asset for Howard. And Howard's value is in the toilet. On top of that, no player would ever want to come to Houston again if we moved Howard. Our motto would be, if you're not an MVP candidate, you're an asset.

Uh, yeah dude. You have posted stuff that looked legit. That was not legit. You lost cred. That's how cred works.

eek the 25M tag for a 33 year old PG? I didnt realize Dragic's max would be so significantly high. I dont know if investing that sort of money would be worth it. Very few players are worth the '20+' tag and Dragic is NOT one of them -- hell he isnt even remotely close to being one of them.

Their backcourt D is pretty good with Rondo. Rondo hurts them on the offensive end but it seems that Martin will help with that...this blows...

If Kevin Martin is bought out by the Twolves, that would seem to be pretty surprising. He has 2 more years on his deal after this season. They couldn't get ANY value for him in a trade? None?

Mavs, Blazers, Clippers could all greatly benefit from him off the bench.

Do other teams go through this stuff as much, because I doubt it. Maybe the Mavs.

I don't get why they bought him out. Martin playing off the bench for any of the West teams would be a huge help. Minny making the West harder than it already is.

A Martin buyout makes no sense. ****ing Minnesota is incompetent.

I think Martin to Phoenix actually makes sense (From PHX perspective). Without Gogi, they will need a SG. No way they can start Thomas and Bledsoe. Not sure Martin is looking for the opportunity to be on the best lottery team in the league again though.

I don't think he will work out there. Just my opinion but he didn't work out in OKC coming off the bench, what makes anyone think he will in Dallas? Also, who is Dallas going to cut now?

Like another poster said, Cuban is making moves off of his emotions and not what actually works for the team. Dallas isn't going anywhere this year with or without Martin.
