There is nothing keeping them from agreeing in principle and announcing a trade if there is an agreement, and waiting until tomorrow to execute it.
Martin is averaging near 20 pts a game since he's returned from injury. That would provide much scoring relief for James. I'd be on board but again, don't want a disgruntled player and don't want him on the Mavs.
I'm not real worried about this. By all account, McHale is a players coach. Plus, Harden is a good locker room guy now... much more vocal. Terry, if not traded, is excellent and Dwight keeps everyone loose and laughing.
How about a 3 way of Jackson and pick to bucs Knight and Henson to houston Jones and pick and whatever else to okc (papa, jet, ariza)?
I might not agree with every word you said, but I would kind of prefer Lawson myself because of the contract situation alone.
From Doc's tweets...I would assume that we are still "pursuing" dragic to let Nuggets/Bucks/Thunder know that "We have other options, take our deal now"
I understand you are speaking about a scenario predicated on an agreement being reached right now, but given that everything just went down last night, I see no reason for PHX to agree to anything until tomorrow. The offers will likely get better as time dwindles, and teams get desperate.
Or even Kanter and Jackson to Bucks (with picks) and Knight/Henson to Hou with whatever to OKC/Utah? If that's what it'd take...
I don't distrust Malakas, but I'm also not ready to fully believe him until I see some of his info pan out. I hope what he says is true, though.
Backup C (and would currently be our starter) and Starting PG are our obvious needs. It would be a shame if we can't get Dragic, but Morey can't waste all his time on that. If we can at least get Kanter or Plumlee, this is a decent job by Morey. Getting Dragic/Kanter or Dragic/Plumlee should maybe get Morey in the top 10 of the Executive of the Year award
True, but he was asking if Shved was the hold up. I was not specifically speaking about Dragic as Shved could be used in other trades just the same.
It makes sense, that leak about trying to move Plumlee with Dragic was pretty clearly targeted at the Rockets.
