What's Doc Rocket referring to with "Amel"?

Parsons demands trade to La or NY in the next year. Book it.

    Here's what I see happening.

In: Lawson, Knight, Henson, Martin, Larry Sanders
Out: TJones, NOP, Terry, Bag of Potato Chips, Doc Rocket, Cyberx, Les Alexander's sock collection

How close would they be to the hard cap? Would bird rights let them resign all of these guys anywhere near a market rate?

That's true, but I believe it has got to the point of no return these last two days with Phoenix. And if they don't trade now, some other team will get his bird rights.
Anything is possible but I was told that he wants to go to south beach and is probably pushing for it.

You got to go back to read the thread from last night. Amel is an outspoken Doc skeptic.

Can somebody explain the K-Mart to Dallas thing?

Not only does it seem like they have no possible cap space, but like...their biggest weakness is perimeter defense, so they bring in Kevin Martin?

    I'm confused.

Steve Nash is pushing for Dragic in LA. Same agent and they are great friends.

What if we just put the interest in Martin out as a smokescreen so Cuban would bite? :)

For you that keep asking what I'm saying, if you will recall I told you a while back that the issue with Dragic in Phoenix was not Thomas. The real issue is that Phoenix re-signed Bledsoe and in the process they handed him the keys. Part of their agreement with Bledsoe was that he would be the lead guard. So it's Bledsoe that is forcing Dragic to SF and to the bench when Phoenix wants a bigger 3-man in the game. At that time I also told you that this could become a primary issue here with Harden dominating the ball and I was concerned about our ability to attract him in the free agent market because a player of his magnitude may want his own team to run.

So if you will consider this in light of what Doc and cyberx are saying it should make some sense. Dragic does want to stay in Phoenix. But he's not going to stay there and play second or third fiddle to a player that he thinks he is at least as good as if not better than. So if Phoenix wants to keep Dragic they have to do one thing. And that is to trade, not Thomas, but Bledsoe. Up until this point Phoenix has been unwilling to do this. And up until this point Morey is unwilling to put the same assets on the table for Dragic as he is for Bledsoe because Bledsoe is younger and is signed and sealed for another 4 years after this one at a salary that very well could allow Morey to add another max contract to the team in 2016 if indeed the cap goes up to $85 million or beyond.

Don't be surprised if rumors start leaking about the Rockets trying to pry away Bledsoe in the next few hours.

And remember I told you part of the price of Rubio may be taking on Kevin Martin.

Also if this fails Chicago and Cleveland will be contacted concerning Butler and Love before Morey sets his sights on the Nets.

Not sure what they would trade but buyout? Absolutely.

    Kevin Martin
    Agent Dan Fegan
    Mark Cuban

    Makes sense.

The whole thing about Player X not wanting to go to Houston because they fear they might be traded narrative.....that is just dumb.

Every team in the league makes trades and flips players. Happens all the time. That is why players ultimately go for the largest paydays. That is the cost of doing business.

Remember when Cuban talked about how he "valued chemistry" and the Rockets just keep trading players? And then Cuban trades players for Rondo etc. Pffff

    Trades happen. Dumb narrative.
