It will be a bit difficult for Goran to adjust with Harden if he does come here(most unlikely IMO), but McHale seems not to have learned that Bev is not good enough as a starter against elite PG's. Lin had his short comings, but starting Bev and bringing him off the bench when Howard joined us was unusual. Sure, it was hard to adjust to Harden, nevertheless they had shown flashes of success together when Asik was the starter. Even in the Portland playoffs, Lin and Harden played well together for short periods. It was too little and too late though. Goran is a feisty player, he has played well with Bledsoe. Harden and Goran aren't an ideal pair, but they can hurt a lot of teams. It's a pity, that Goran doesn't see it that way, although a lot of us can understand his apprehension about being traded quickly.
You would think that GMs have enough confidence to make decisions that are best for their teams without worrying about the perceptions of others or who they are trading with. Just goes to show, no matter how high up you are, confidence is still a fleeting thing.
See....that makes more sense to me than all this other garbage. He wants to be the starting point, and Bledsoe (not Thomas) is the problem. I don't buy that Dragic is "ok" with just any team. I'm not saying he's focused on just one, but I imagine his real "list" looks more like Houston, Indiana, and Miami. All need PGs, and all are "playoff contenders".
Would love KMart back on the team he wpuld be perfect off the bench. Doesn't help our PG issue though.
i'm calling it morey plan A B C D E F all failed (dragic, lawson, knight, rubio, etc...) he is going to trade for asset so he can trade again on draft day
Yeah, but the teams are still making offers. Granted I'm making an assumption that they know that Dragic doesn't want to go there... but it seems like at this point all the people in the know, know. If 7 teams are still making offers without complete assurance from Dragic, then they're still making offers...
Doc Rocket is that old guy that you know is senile, yet there's a hint of genius and wisdom in his words. So you still listen.
damn ...Doc is just freaking bringing it. i have never heard him so candid. So ...potential KMart deal; potential Ty Lawson deal; potential IT deal; potential Henson deal (? why Milwaukee...why?) and most all would need a 3rd team?
It's kind of amazing that in this mega crazy never ending thread that the most interesting thing to happen is the unencrypting of DocRocket. He's going all out no riddle time. The constant nagging from others about how his riddles suck? Trying to firmly cement his name as an insider? Knowing perhaps this is the end of the road for him as an insider so just going all out? I don't know, but it's pretty interesting. I can't remember him ever doing this in all his years of Rockets insider riddle mumbo jumbo.
