Okay so, I'm going to just put this out there..... The Rockets need a player who is concerned about putting on that Houston jersey and going to war for the remainder of the season. They need a player who wants to win a ring and wants to win it now. What they don't need is a player who is focused on what team he will sign with during the offseason. I don't care who they bring in to be honest. Lawson, Dragic, IT...... Heck, even Aaron Brooks looks great right now and all of these guys can help the Rockets big time...... But they have to want to play here otherwise forget them. We aren't begging for superstars and talent anymore, we are trying to complete a roster capable of winning it all 2015...... With that said, hell NO I don't want to give up DMO...... Its clear why so many fans "overhype" him but letting talent go for someone who does not see his future and championship here is a mistake. Lawson, Dragic, IT...... Whoever they can bring in just please make sure they are ready to represent.... Just saying.....

Hard to say how all this ends up with all the back and forth contradictory information. But here is what I hope we are targeting because I know Morey has ALL of his options open and on the table: Biggest Need is a Starting PG: G. Dragic, or Ty Lawson or B. Knight Backup PG(assuming Bev traded): Jarrett Jack, D.J. Augustine True Backup SG: K. Martin, O.J. Mayo, J. Crawford(if true Clippers interested in moving), R. Allen Backup Center: ANYONE BETTER THAN DORSEY I think we have enough assets (contracts, picks, overseas prospects) to get something in each category without giving up Harden/Howard/Ariza/DMo/Smith/Brewer/Jones, although Jones could be dealt still. I can't wait to see how Morey finally addresses all these issues by tomorrow afternoon and to see if it truly puts us into Championship contention for THIS year. I think we could have a roster this year that truly competes for the Championship, while still maintaining flexibility for the future, if the right trades are made by tomorrow. In Morey We Trust!
I've said it before and I'll say it again. Ty Lawson is the better fit. He's an incredible passer. Look at his Assist/Turnover ratio. We need that. And he's a good scorer. I want him 10x more than I want Gogi.
