Yeah, he's not going to LA. The only team that scares me is Boston because of their stockpile of picks. That said, I can understand why Rockets -- as a contender -- would take the gamble on Dragic eventually coming around on re-signing. The Celtics, as a team unlikely to even make the playoffs? That's something different. But Danny Ainge is gutsy, so I wouldn't write them off.
Get over it. Dragic doesnt want to be here long term. Rockets just need to look elsewhere before deadline since other players could be snatched up.
i think you guys think too much into this Dragic doesn't want to play with Harden he wants to be the primary ball handler just move on we need less well know player so we don't have to loose arm and leg to get him we just need part time ball handler Jarrett Jack is actually not bad and will not cost us NOP pick
I like to give people rumblings and things that happen behind the scenes. A lot of people here appreciate what happens in a front office setting/coaches meetings, etc.
I get what you're saying at the end. I have the same hesitation. The goal is two fold: to win a championship, and to keep Harden here as long as possible. Signing Dragic helps with the former, but I don't know if it helps the later. I'd prefer to get someone like Love, who I believe would keep Harden firmly rooted here for a long time.
IDGAF who we get i just want this chit done 2 much contradictory info out there in morey and cybersex i trust
Yeah, remember when Houston wasn't on Dwight Howard's list in 2012? Remember when sources said there was no way in hell he'd sign there once his free agency arrived in July 2013? Oh, right. Things change.
Thanks CyberX. What is D-mo's value looking like across the league? Do Rockets fans truly over value him?
Please tell me McHale isn't serious about Dragic off the bench and was just spitballing. Has he not noticed the dreadful starts the team gets off to in the 1st quarter? Smith never made sense as a starter because Harden is a better distributor and D-Mo's a better post option. Off the bench, he's given the freedom to handle the ball more and work inside the paint.
I've been seeing talks on here about making a deal for Dragic and making a deal for TY Lawson.... Dragic seems like he wouldnt be thrilled to be here, so why not do a 3 team deal - send Dragic to Denver, TY Law to Houston, Houston can send their assets however it works.. Why this deal would go down?? dont know... not worth the mental energy to figure this out. Just a thought.
Larry sanders just bought out legit morey needs to package dorsey out of here in trade for lawson and clear space for larry sanders. Sanders off the bench Bev brewer smith and sanders off bench is insane thats 6 seed in east lol!
People really are starting to like DMO - he is going to get a pay day as well. From a few scouts I spoke to, they think he is a nice PF. Defensive game needs some work and they want to see more mental toughness. But I have to admit myself that he has surprised me as well
Doesn't the second half of what you are saying exactly prove why we might need dragic off the bench? We need someone to handle making the offense work when Harden is off the floor.
