Google "Head coach of Houston Rockets"

    It isnt Dragic.

McHale wants a team first mentality.. He got Smith to bite, why not Dragic?

These are internal discussions of course.

Well if that's the case, then no wonder he doesn't wanna come here. You make Dragic the starter. That's a no-brainer. And then have him on the floor at all times when Harden's on the bench. So he'll be playing with Smith, Brewer, and Terry(assuming he isn't dealt), but also starting and closing games alongside Harden.

Personally, I'd like to see Morey just deal Bev now if he trades for Dragic. Get something for him, even if it's a 2nd rounder. Cuz there's no way we're resigning Dragic AND Bev this offseason.

I'd guess Gogi will start but minutes staggered so Harden can truly rest up for the 4th quarter.

Get Bev to start and have him work the other teams PG hard.

Bring Dragic in later and watch him dominate with Smith and Brew? Come on.... How would this team be beat?

Wouldn't necessarily mean Dragic doesn't start. Remember how the Rockets used Dwight for a while? They removed him at roughly the 6-minute mark of the first quarter and then brought him back at the start of the 2nd to anchor the Harden-less bench group. Same thing in 3rd/4th quarters. At least that's what I hope McHale is referencing. :)

Yeah obviously Dragic would start. There is no way we would trade for him and then bring him off the bench.

So the Rockets are still going hard for Dragic then? Would they include Dmo?

I love your optimism, I've always seen him and Harden playing a similar role to Tony Parker and Manu Ginobli if we were to put them together.

No matter what we need to keep DMo and he needs to learn to shoot mid range so he can play the big man facilitator in the middle.

Dwight's knees have changed the timeline for the Rockets. Even if it's for a rental, we're going for Goran.

Without giving up DMo, of course.

Different situations. There are teams willing to give Dragic those minutes/shots.

Regardless, this would further imply Morey won't trade DMo even though that was obvious from before.

Of course everyone is going to freak out. He wouldn't be "coming off the bench" people. He'd start every game....sub out at the 5/6 minute mark in the 1st, and come back in at the beginning of the 2nd to run the bench unit.
