So far what has leaked via Goran's camp, has totally made the Rockets look like jacka__ for chasing him. But what about this misdirection? Perhaps this was the play by Goran and his agent in the first place: Undercut his value, and force the Suns to either hold him(so he can max his value this offseason) or trade him to the Rockets for a relatively cheap deal. Its no secret that the Suns are looking for a 1st round pick, but there is no way in heck the Rockets are going to invest picks and players if Goran isnt extending his contract. Think about the teams he requested for: Lakers, Knicks, and Miami. The Lakers are not going to trade their #1 pick or the one they got from the Rockets. They wont trade Randle either. The Knicks are in a similar position..unable to trade much of anything in value. In regards to the Heat, the greatest asset the Heat currently have is Hassan(who knew)...and there is zero way they will trade Hassan without seeing how much better he can be. New reports about the Suns now trying to trade IT instead is extremely risky for the Suns. They know that Goran will not resign...Losing both Goran and IT is not the plans for the Suns. One of the two will be traded.
