That's fine, let them. Sometimes when you lose, you really win, and sometimes when you win, you really lose, and this is very much one of those scenarios. Win at all costs may work for players, but Pyrrhic victories aren't for the front office.
I wouldn't exactly call a championship a Pyrrhic victory. What would you give for a big chance for a championship? Is the NOP pick worth it? Is Jones worth it? It's all evaluating the pros and the cons. The pro in this case is the big prize and the chance to change any FA (dragic) mind with the sweet taste of success. Of course I would never consider NOW to pay the whole price of DMO and NOP. But two seconds? Nah..that's wasting a chance to win. And in that case Morrey should go all out for someone else because there is simply no chance to acquire Dragic with such a package that even Miami could beat.-and they will be interested to to get his bird rights.
I don't know how reliable Berger is but apparently someone is trying to get Knight the last two days..?and still trying today more and more I hope Morrey is reading this forum. Go for it Morrey! I support you!
Then let them get his bird rights, since he's willing to re-sign there, they'd be more than willing to trade the no assets they have. It's not like we're talking about Kevin Durant or Chris Paul here..
Im shocked you guys can't sifted through this bs. Sources have leaked for months that Dragic was interested in houston... he'll Dragic said it himself.
Big mistake. This is the time of the year where that is not okay. If you do 'have to' sleep, then get a secretary to take notes. Don't skip a beat. It's not cool to do that on your fellow Rocket fans.
Wishful thinking. If he ain't winning, why would he get endorsements? The All-Stars showed us there are many young rising stars. Goran is already 29.
In Ny la AND mIAMI someone of Dragic's talent and future role will get more endorsements than i.e George in Indy. Doesn't depend in talent. Depends on market. and fanbase and hype.
...because allegedly the Rockets are not not Dragic's wish list of teams that he is willing to sign with this summer.
Most of the trusted clutchfans insiders are saying he's not coming Most of the trusted NBA insiders are saying he doesn't want to be in Houston Many legit reports that he is still raw about being undervalued in Houston
Well thanks guys... so let's go after Lawson or Knight. I'd also be fine with Isaiah Thomas as a playmaker off the bench that plays 30 minutes a night. Dragic was always a risk. There is a real possibility that he is getting the full max this off seaon or something very close to it. That would've been hard for the Rockets to match. Someone like Lawson gives you more security and a very team friendly contract. But he might come at a hefty price. I don't know if a package around Jones, the NOP pick and Papa would get it done...
If you think about it, he is doing us a favor by giving us plenty of warning rather than spurning us at the altar or divorcing us after we have a beautiful baby
He WILL get the max, which I personally don't think he is worth on this team. I rather have IT2 coming off the bench with some fire or of course have Lawson/Knight. Suns won't trade IT2 now that Dragic has said he won't be resigning with the Suns.
