Woj is saying the Rockets are still in it, but DocRocket claimed Houston were out a for a while now.

Suns only hope for a good return is Dragic wanting to come to Houston.
But his agent will lose $$$ because Bev will likely lose playing time and starting spot (and the starter bonus ? ) so less chance for a good commision on this summer contract.
What team could be interested in Bev?

Fine by me. If the Rockets trade for Dragic with the intent to resign him to a big extension this offseason, then Bev is gone anyway. Why not just move him now? Everyone gets what they want. The players, the agents, and the Rockets.

    What is Bev's salary?
There are not many teams that would be interested in him. Harden was the perfect fit , theoritically, for him.
I think Charlotte and Milwaukee could potentially be interested. Doubt the Suns would have ANY interest in resigning him if theytake him back in the trade.

This is why I'm so confused!! CF insiders making it obvious Houston moving on from Dragic but everyone else is saying we haven't...

Timeline changes, new situation comes up. This trade like many others, are fluid and ever changing.

Of course. This was a huge roadblock .
Now it's up to the Suns to try to squeeze as much from Dragic as possiblE.
His agent doesn't give a crap.
I hope smh the Suns find a way to screw BDA in the future.
    And screw them badly.

Doc Rocket said we are out on Dragic but I don't think cyberx did.

Cyberx said Phoenix is hoping for Cousins or a Lakers offer. And that he doesn't think we'll give them both the Pels pick and DMo.

I think Phoenix are doing more to sell Houston to Dragic than we are, without us, they get something between jack and ****.

I wonder if Dragic really does hate Houston as all these media people pretty much suggest.. Just find it weird that he wouldn't even consider Hou a place to play.

I think this maybe a Dwight/Parsons situation again. Dragic afraid rockets trade him. Duffy gets rid of the backup. Duffy put Beverley in a place to get money. Rockets go aLong so Dragic will re-sign. lots of people to satisfy here.

I thought CyberX said something like that Dragic was chasing the money now and the rings later and that you can't blame the guy. Sorta made it sound like he was probably going to the Lakers or Knicks too me.

Yeah he did. Why would that rule out the Rockets though?

Dragic would get the most money resigning with Bird rights.

I doubt it AS LONG he gets the 5 year max.
Without it he's a goner after 3 months.

Anyone know if a) Bev has already qualified for the starter bonus?
    b) what exactly is his salary this year?

It may be that Bev has to be coupled with a minor asset to get rid of.

Also interesting to consider in retrospect that one of the reasons that Morrey didn't go out for Rondo even though he had the best assets was BDA. Rondo's agent would probably proclaim no interest in resigning ever there and in the process screwed over Boston by lowering the potential trade returns.

Ken Berger mentioned it in an article today. It flew under the radar.

Ken Berger mentioned in an article that a Dragic trade would involve Bevs somehow.
