That kind of makes me feel a bit better about him resigning here if we get him. Didn't scare Ariza from signing with us again.

Read my mind. Quite a petulant crowd here.

Not to mention when someone joins a contender they're called a ring chaser. Except if it's Houston, he's a winner.

He wants to get paid and live in a highly desirable city, who can blame him?

It's obvious why he wants to be traded to those teams, the heat, lakers and knicks.

They all offer plenty of shots on bad teams. Dragic needs to justify his max contract next year, which could be upwards of what? 18m? Can you even say he's the second best pg on his own team right now? no.

Man, everyone jumping ship. All these tweets don't even sound like something Dragic would say publicly or privately.

Win a championship or get to WCF, Gogi will stay.

lol so, what, now he wants a no-trade clause because we didn't give him a player option in the past?

Please. We don't need him THAT bad.

He wants to go to a team that gives him opportunities to touch the ball but has Kobe's Lakers as one of his preferred destinations. That's like a vegan preferring to work at Burger King.

Dragic is just driving the price down so he can play with dmo.

    I'd take him over Joey.

Maybe, but his contract is atrocious. Jason Thompson is a bum overall.

I'd take Daryl Morey himself at center over Joey

Sounds like Dragic doesn't find Houston all that scenic compared to the sights and sounds of cities like NY, LA, and Miami. The lack of strong playmakers in those cities has got to be enticing too.

Smart move by Dragic to put himself in the drivers' seat.

Whether or not teams like SAC want him 'real bad'. Dragic has veto power.
All he has to do is give a thumbs down like the Emperor. If they know he won't re-sign
with them, no team is going to throw away real assets for a trade.

PHX is pretty boxed in here. They are at his mercy.

But it's still sad to see him consider taking max money to go to a loser team and
waste away. We ALL would do the same for $80Mil right?
But it's such a waste of talent and potential.
It would be great to see him go for a contender to try and go out on top
instead of going out as a money grabber. Still can't blame him.

But, maybe he can go play with Bosh. Bosh thumbed his nose at being part
of what would have been a formidable Rockets team to take more $$ and
ride into the sunset with his boy DWade.
Dragic would fit right in if that's what he's looking to do.

Yea...the 3 things those teams have in common are that they would be his team for the foreseeable future.

As a bonus they are big cities where he could get major exposure.

NY is melo's team and we know how much he likes to share the stage. LA is Kobe's team, and by the time it's not, they'll be chasing Westbrook who will take his job, lol

He hasn't made much money through his career and he's approaching 30, so i can certainly see that being priority 1, 2 and 3
