[rQUOTEr]The Houston Rockets have interest in reacquiring him, but Dragic has privately indicated his fear of Houston trading him in the years after signing him to a deal makes him uneasy about a deal there.[/rQUOTEr]

It's not that he wants to make as much money as possible, he could make every bit as much money anywhere. I can fully understand wanting the most money, but this isn't what this is about, this is about chasing big media markets. I can't respect that. If media market is your highest priority then I don't want you around.

I'm going to guess him wanting out of Phoenix has something to do with them having two other starting quality point guards

I hate to break it to you Gogi, but if the Rockets resign you this Summer to a max deal, aint nobody going to want to trade for you on the wrong side of 30 in a few years.

im with you with the sentiment of now wanting someone like that. but at the same time, do you really think thats the case with dragic? i still am doubtful about this whole "no Houston on the list" for the dragon

If he did want to resign with us, is it really smart to lock up max money for 5 years in a 28 year old (29 at the start of the contract) point guard? I'd love to have him, but I feel like that'll tie our hands cap wise for quite a while, wont it?

Big media markets are money. The whole endorsement picture changes in those markets. For some players, that means more money than their contract.

So he's afraid of being traded to make room for Durant?

he can only sign a 4 year deal with a team in free agency, if he gets traded somewhere he can sign a 5 year deal with that team. At his age I'm guessing he wants to sign as long term as he can

Dragic is overrated....I have been saying all along that we should be targeting Isiah Thomas. He is just as good at a much younger age and much better salary.

I don't give a **** what he wants, and I don't know why PHX would either. That list is an obvious BS ploy.

    Slow news day.

I just don't think he's good enough to give up D-Mo, Jones, or a first-round pick for 29 games of Dragic (plus playoffs).

(Are there any idiot McHale haters wanting Dragic? If you don't know why you're an idiot, multiply your idiocy by two.)

This puts the Suns in defensive position in making a deal. Morey will weigh the options regarding Dragic and it will be his call to gamble on getting him now. I am sure plan B and C are in line. Can't wait to see what Morey decides, chess game in its final moves.

This is expected. I'd imagine they might offer less now, but I don't see them dropping the pursuit at all
