This. He hasn't put out anything noteworthy in the time frame that I have regularly posted on this board. And that's been a pretty long while. From what I understand he used to be well connected, but every year people try to decipher his cryptic texts, yet they amount to nothing of substance.
That's what all of this sounds like. It sounds like Dragic was leading people on saying he wouldn't mind be traded to Hou just so he could screw them over by leaving in the summer and go sign with LA. But then someone in his camp spilled the beans and let the truth out and now HOU is going another direction.
Why would Dragic care about what Houston gives up? He could just as well make a list with Houston at the deadline or the Knicks in FA and that's it, and then the Rockets actually have a better chance at getting him for next to nothing. Adding the Lakers and Heat doesn't really help Morey save assets as much as you'd think. Especially adding in the Lakers who have a 1st rounder to offer via Houston, a 2019 first rounder, Jordan Hill, and the whole Suns owning the Lakers pick this year conundrum. That offer from the Lakers still isn't amazing, but it still puts the Rockets at a position to have to give up good picks, and real players as well. I think this thought process is a CF wet dream. You are kidding yourself.

Yeah pretty sure he didn't. Everyone and their mom was "calling" D12 that summer. Not exactly that impressive to call that. Brewer I didn't follow. I'm sure you have a point about that. He's also mentioned a ton of players for a long time that have never materialized. Similar to Plowman and a few others. The only one who should get 100% beyond a doubt legitimacy is cyberx. Almost everything he's called has been true. That's the only track record I'm willing to support.
