Maybe Dragic is doing Houston a solid by floating the bogus list not naming Houston, as a way to drive down the Suns asking price and help his soon to be new team. You better believe Morey would not have chased Dragic all these months if he had not received word that Dragic wanted to play here. It just doesn't add up otherwise.
Dragic might turn into one of my least favorite players in the league if payback to Houston is that important to him. I really hope that isn't true.
did he say that to you ? you are just getting mad because he doesn't want to come here and from what the media reports and not what he has actually said
ESPN.com also reported last week that the Houston Rockets and the Lakers were at the front of the line already trying to coerce the Suns into dealing Dragic, even before Phoenix had been able to get a clear indication from the 28-year-old about his future plans. But sources told ESPN.com on Tuesday night that Dragic has little interest in signing a long-term deal with the Rockets, who would thus likely be unwilling to surrender the needed assets this week to get a Dragic deal done. The Los Angeles Lakers and New York Knicks, sources said, are destinations that highly intrigue Dragic, given that both teams desperately need a point guard and will have loads of cap space to offer him. Only the Suns can offer Dragic a five-year deal for now, but any team that trades for Dragic this week would inherit his Larry Bird rights and the ability to offer a five-year contract come July. If no trade materializes, Dragic would head to free agency seeking a four-year max deal from the likes of the Lakers, Knicks and Miami Heat that, based on the latest estimates in circulation, could reach the $80 million range. http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/1...unt-goran-dragic-trades?ex_cid=sportscenterTW
Lawson is an excellent starting point on a excellent deal. Thomas is a backup/6th man point on a deal that's a bit rich for someone who should be coming off the bench. In my opinion, anyway. I'll be disappointed if we end up with him.
Would actually fit in with the Dragic rocket Twitter follows/unfollows mind games nonsense. But this takes a lot of thought and a real bitterness towards houston. Didn't realuze it ran that deep with him.
based on the latest doc tweet (who i trust because he predicted the dwight signing)...if dragic's intentions are payback...thats a b**** move...
lol payback? Payback for what? The 4th and last year of his contract that he's not even going to exercise this summer? Or is he mad that he didn't have a chance to stick around and play with Harden and Howard? Dragic trying to screw Houston over is overblown. If it weren't for him going back to Phoenix and Houston not giving him that 4th year then all of this "Give Dragic the MAX!!!" talk wouldn't even happen. The Rockets indirectly did him a favor.
