I honestly dont know what we would have to give up for him. But in my opinion the nuggets are wasting away and I wouldn't be surprised to see them look to trade

For a "guaranteed" 29 games and adios? The Knicks second round pick (an excellent 2nd rounder), someone to match salaries, possibly The Greek (I would hate to lose him, but Goran would be a huge plus for our playoff run) and a cat from our D-League team. After this (if it's on the level), I'd laugh at demands for something better.

We would be stupid to get him. He's going to stick it to Morey like I do

He is going to play for the Lakers and doesn't want a strong team in his division. Nash used to give the Lakers a lot of trouble.

lol @ everyone buying Stein among others. Other teams know the Rockets are in good position and are using Stein as a mouthpiece. #calmdown

Also, the girl who leaves you to have sex with a better looking/richer guy, did it because she secretly loves you.

You know what, I don't care about his "preferred destinations." With this news he can be had for less, and right now is time for the Rockets. I say try and pull the trigger. We have the MVP, we probably will not have Smoove/Brewer/Dwights knees next year. It is time to do something to win right now. If we don't go all in now, when will we?

Dragic himself will be on the down-slope of his career by that time. He's already like 29 years old.

IF all he really cares about is the $$, then he'l be a Rocket by the end of the deadline.

Whoever trades for him gets to give him the full max, plus we have no state tax, meaning we would be able to offer him a LOT more $ guaranteed with an extra year. So in reality we can just trade for him and dare him to walk from a contender offering the most possible cash to a trash team like the Lakers or Knicks who will only be able to offer him 4 years, plus have super high taxes.

The only reason for Dragic to go to the Lakers or Knicks is... because he'd want to be the primary ball handler. Which I think is a bogus thing since the Knicks have Melo, and Miami has Wade/Bosh who will demand the ball, and Lakers have Kobe for another 2 years, Dragic will be turning 31 with a rebuilding roster.. makes sense.

I think he must have a sour taste in his mouth when we refused to sign him or something because this ish doesn't make sense. But hey, humans are humans and not robots, we do illogical things because of our emotions. Just because we have whats seems to us to be the best scenario, that doesn't mean **** if Dragic doesn't have the right vibe about the Rockets.

I don't mind if the 'perception' is that Dragic doesn't want to be in Houston. It means PHX loses any bargaining power they may otherwise have had.

Lakers, Knicks heat aren't/ can't giving up a first rounder. So Phoenix starts to face the very real possibility of losing him for nothing, or taking filler and a couple of 2nds..... oh dear. It's all bad for them.

Are you telling me that If Dragic is traded to Houston…and we offer him a MAX deal (with the extra 5th year)…Dragic will leave the extra 20 million on the table? My ass!

Now the question is, will the Rockets give him a max contract.

I get the feeling Berger mostly regurgitates other reporters' scoops. He doesn't have a good network of insiders to lean on.

Seeing alot of people saying Dragic is about the money... well, yeah. It's his Job!!! Players should make as much money as possible, although he'd make more money resigning with whatever team he happens to be on.

And this isn't going to stop Morey from trying to trade for him. Morey tried for Howard when Dwight was in Orlando and said he wouldn't sign in Houston. Then one year later...

Looks like we are going to go to the deadline. Really love Goran, but if he wants to "run" the team, not happening here. Be assured Morey, Inc. is in high gear. The net result may be nothing, but a few phones will melt in the process.

    Stein
    Woj
    Amick

are as legit as it gets, literally the first 3 guys i'd look for sources from.

Of course, we're missing one very important insiders voice though... we haven't yet heard from the most important man of all...

I think we should just trade a 2nd for him and if he leaves work out a sign and trade with whoever. Our window is now!. The west is wide open.
