Perhaps they feel that RFA will inflate his salary and thus are weighing whether or not to cash in on his rising stock by the deadline?

Some Greek guy who is a Bucks fan started posting here and said so. No, he hasn't been verified as someone actually in the know.

Pretty sure it is just peoples general interpretation from Doc Rocket's post. Personally I do not see any reason the bucks trade knight. They are in position to make the playoffs and they are playing really solid basketball this season.

The Jonathan Feigen interview with PHX radio is kind of interesting.

PHX radio host said that he reported that earlier that if Goran goes to HOU, one of the guys coming back would (likely?) be DMo. Feigen praised DMo but also said that a perhaps even more interesting asset is the NOP pick.

The combination of this and and Woj's reports suggest that the hang-up with the Dragic deal is about how much asset Houston is willing to include in the deal. PHX seems to want BOTH the NOP pick AND DMo, Houston is offering the pick (plus other smaller assets?), but no DMo.

Feigen said he thinks PHX keeps Goran, but it sure doesn't sound like they are doing this out of a strong conviction that Goran is their core star or anything like that, just a matter of the price Goran fetches-- the difference of a young player/asset or whatever it turns out to be.

Personally, I would be fine with trading DMo and the NOP pick to PHX, as long as I get Goran back plus, say, Brandan Wright or an asset we can convert into a useful big guy and fill out the roster. Some here won't agree, but whatever. The bottom line is that we are not talking about some unimaginable gap between the teams.

I've always liked Knight since his college days. I wonder how many RFAs this summer will take the 1 year deal to hit the payday in 2016 and choose their own team.

Why would we want the unskilled loser that Pat Beverley has already defeated?

If we get Goran + Green + Len/Wright back, that's more than fine with me.

DMo is solid, but an eye for an eye here

Yes; but is the Green Knight even available (without eating Sanders' contract, that is)?

Oh..doubt it. We don't need him. I was assuming Doc meant Henson and Knight.

No need to cave into the Suns demands. The Rockets aren't in a position to lose Goran, the Suns are.

I can understand the talk behind Lawson, but he's Denver's best player, a guy you can build around, on a great contract. They have no need to trade him unless they get a ridiculous offer.

Knight, on the other hand, makes no sense to me? He's a 23 y/o RFA!! And a borderline all-star for a team that has fairly decent seeding in the East. I would be absolutely dumbfounded if MIL gave him up.

Dragic + Wright for KPap, Shved, DMo, NOP pick, NYK 2nd sounds like something that could be plausible for both teams. Only problem is that both Dragic and Wright are expiring.

Thing is Denver seems to be on the verge of rebuilding. By the time they are good again (at the earliest), Lawson will be on a new contract and be at least 30ish.

They are already listening to offers for players like WIlson Chandler, Afflalo, etc.

Like your thinking. Denver isn't getting much though.

I would agree. That might be over paying but as long as we have plans and pieces left for getting the backup big I don't mind paying for someone who I think would fix the gaps when Harden rests. We really need that backup big anyway because we aren't going to last with a Dorsey/DMo combo. Jones and Smith can easily hold the PF down. So get Dragic, get a backup C and hope they gel in time.
