Cold? Why is everybody thinking literally about that? Try to fit IN and not fit OUT.

If everyone would just focus on "too cold in the D" and "getting traded to another coast" then we'd crack the trade!!

    Google like never before, guys.

Kinda depends on the return, doesn't it? Morey had full-on wood for Smart; Boston likes IT. If there were other moving parts....maybe. Maaaaaaybe.

I don't call it likely, and maybe it's even a bit "ludicrouth" (Mike Tyson voice), but if it happens, I called it several pages back.

Not that this is gonna happen. Codman seems to be indicating another team.

    Smart is a scrub.

It could be Bradley if we are dealing away Terry.

He's not great now. But metrics-boy was interested in him for the draft.

If you think Marcus Smart is a scrub you obviously haven't seen him defend. I don't want him because of fit but he's far from a scrub

Have you seen any Celtics game this year? This guy doesn't look to score ever. How does that help our team when right now we only have Harden as our facilitator.

Well, yes, everybody in this league outside of 10-15 dudes are able to be had for the right price. I'm just speaking likelihoods.

Detroit: only player that comes to mind is Caron Butler (traded from Lakers to Wizards, signed with Clippers); BimaThug said in the latest podcast Butler may be someone on the radar due to the team option on his contract for next year.

Please be Avery Bradley coming home from the cold.

    -24 yrs old w/ a 4 year contract @ 8mil per
-lockdown defender with room to improve, can guard the 1 and the 2
-great shooting form and high elevation
-is a better player off the ball

I'd be surprised if Boston was willing to let him go.

Let me take a shot (wishful thinking)

Cold in the D = Detroit

Traded to another coast = Detroit trading Knight to Milwaukee. It is technically the other coast of Lake Michigan.

    :p

Pacers See Dragic in Their Future

The Indiana Pacers are looking to move one of their high-priced veterans, league sources say, in order to create salary-cap room to pursue Dragic this summer. Both power forward David West and point guard George Hill have been mentioned as available, and although center Roy Hibbert has not, the Pacers' interest in Dragic is believed to be strong enough that they'd move anyone other than Paul George to create the necessary cap space to get him.

    Sixers, Rockets Always Ready

Of course, it wouldn't be trade season without the Philadelphia 76ers and Houston Rockets being in the mix.

The Sixers, several teams said, are offering to be a depot for anyone needing to dump an expiring contract to make a deal work. The Rockets are looking to deal for a first-round pick, presumably to bolster their chances of landing a starting-caliber point guard. The Rockets are well aware, sources say, that there is considerable competition for their desired No. 1 target, Dragic, who, if the Suns have their way, will stay right where he is.
