J.R. deserves a new contract. We better lock him up on a very long term deal before he tests free agency.
For IT? Yeah I agree maybe a 2nd, Joey Dorsey, Alexey Shved, and a used prophylactic but that's about all I'd want us to offer for him.
Well there are only so many options out there. Dragic is by far the best PG (possibly) available. Lawson is reportedly off the market. Thomas would be an upgrade, but not necessarily the almost All-Star that Dragic is. Knight is probably not being shopped. Deron Williams is too injury prone. Jackson would arguably be a downgrade from Bev in some respects. Honestly, if Dragic isn't being traded and Morey isn't sold on Thomas, maybe it's best to not screw around with the PG spot right now. See if a backup big man is available or maybe just go for some additional scoring off the bench. Any additional playmakers would be welcome here. It's not like they have to play at PG.
patient Ariza is not morey plan A it turnout pretty well for us i don't think Morey will trade NOP pick before the trade deadline i think he will keep it and try to move up in the draft
That's kinda where I am at too! The question now is just who? I don't wanna give up any good assets for anything other than a Dragic tier player
Besides Dragic, I'm not sure there is a big move to be had. Spoiler Just some rumored names or guys they won't mind moving... Sixers: Andrei Kirilenko, Jason Richardson Bucks: Ersan Ilyasova, Larry Sanders Bulls: Taj Gibson? Cavs: None Celtics: Brandon Bass, Tayshaun Prince, Marcus Thornton, Gerald Wallace Clippers: None Grizzlies: None Hawks: None Heat: Norris Cole Hornets: Lance Stephenson Jazz: Enes Kanter Kings: Nick Stauskas, Jason Thompson Knicks: Andrea Bargnani, Jose Calderon, Pablo Prigioni Lakers: Jordan Hill Magic: Mo Harkless, Andrew Nicholson Mavs: Raymond Felton Nets: Kevin Garnett, Joe Johnson, Brook Lopez, Deron Williams Nuggets: Arron Afflalo, Wilson Chandler, JaVale McGee, Jameer Nelson Pacers: None Pelicans: None Pistons: None Raptors: Landry Fields, Chuck Hayes Spurs: None Suns: Goran Dragic, Gerald Green, Miles Plumlee, Isaiah Thomas Thunder: Reggie Jackson Timberwolves: Chase Budinger, Kevin Martin, Gary Neal, Thaddeus Young Blazers: Thomas Robinson Warriors: David Lee Wizards: None Plenty of guys NOT listed so maybe a deal comes from there if you meet the [likely sky high] asking price. I'm not sure where this blockbuster is supposed to come from.
Rockets are pretty SOL Cuz Dragic is probably staying... Lawson isn't available... Neither is Brandon Knight! Kinda sucks! Guess the thread will continue in draft speculation for that Pels pick for Houston lol
I have no idea who. I'd love a true backup 2 behind Harden. Brewer is more of a 3. And Terry has struggled over the last month and probably won't be here next season anyway. But other than Afflalo, I don't know who's available(and wouldn't cost too much).
