IT went to college at Indiana University at Bloomington. Indiana has been hit with blizzards. "Out from under you" could almost mean Thomas is under Dragic on the depth chart as well as many wish lists here. Like some have said, IT and Plumlee? (just when I thought we had Dragic... Sigh)
Only Center that is under 30 on the roster. So unless this is part of a bigger deal that smh sends back to Mil another center no. I think the most probable is IT or R.Jax.
This is the post of the day as it relates to the Dragic negotiations. I can't find a better way to summarize that at the end of the day, this is the situation Phoenix is looking at. EVERY team in the league would love to have Dragic of course, but there are so very few that actually meet the criteria of - A. Need a starting PG, or need an upgrade B. Have the ability to create a somewhat decent trade package C. Are willing to pay above real-time-value in free agency this Summer The only real threats out there to be even a mediocre (not D-Mo inclusive) trade package from the Rockets has to be a 3 team deal with lots of moving parts. Probably a team like the Bucks seeing Dragic as an upgrade, and moving Knight or something like that. The biggest competition since this Summer and still to this day is Phoenix themselves as they have not wanted to trade Dragic from the get-go because they think he's the best player they have (debatable), the closest thing to a face of the franchise star, and their best chance of making a playoff run this year.... which is important. I still think Phoenix keeping Dragic is a very real thing. For the Rockets to get Dragic in the next 48 hours its going to take Dragic's camp telling Phoenix very blunt and to the point that he's leaving the Suns and wont cooperate on a S&T deal. That's not really in Gogi's nature, and I doubt that happens. I actually think he wants to stay, but I think trading I. Thomas doesn't make him happy enough to resign. I actually think Gogi's camp will probe to see if they can get other concessions in place that puts the ball back in Gogi's hands, and only has another PG or two on the roster to back him up (oh and of course verbally agreeing to give him a max contract offer this summer )Trading Eric Bledsoe might be what Gogi's camp REALLY wants....
Could Doc mean Knight and Henson? Didn't he do a riddle once about the muppets in regards to Henson? Muppets (puppets and slight of hand to get them to work?) Obviously it could be related to the Magic. Bima said in the podcast a secondary fall back move could be a player with non-guaranteed money next year and mentioned Ben Gordon.
Has anyone heard with Amare joining the Mavs are they cutting Greg Smith? Definite upgrade over Capela and probably upgrade of Dorsey.
I feel like Doc's tweets are a lot less cryptic than you guys make them out to be. Didn't he have a tweet about Brewer where he said "BREWing"? Hardly cryptic at all.
Lol... Duh, that's what happens when you Google and then just type a response without thinking smh... And I loved Zeke back in the day. The "new" IT went to Washington so (hopefully) we can rule him out. Unless the underneath still refers to him.
If we aren't trading DMo, I don't see a need to bring in another big. We can easily get a guard on the cheap like: Jameer Nelson Luke Ridnour Jerryd Bayless Jared Dudley CJ Watson etc.
I'd be incredibly happy with Rubio, but I really doubt the Wolves would move him. He and Wiggins seem to have great chemistry.
Yea you guys are over-decrypting his lame as riddles. It seems like there are 3 potential targets. Doc's tweet seems like the order in which they the rockets prefer. Jackson is the last resort?
I still find is super hard to believe you on the Knight thing. Please don't take offense. Its just crazy to think that a super young team would actually be WANTING to trade their current (maybe not future) best player when they are about to be in the playoffs for the first time in awhile, and actually could make some noise (or just make for an entertaining series). I do think they'd do an upgrade deal (maybe they see Dragic as an upgrade), but it would have to be a pretty substantial upgrade AT POINT GUARD. I know you've been advocating for this trade to Houston for a couple weeks, but you are going to have to show me some pretty strong evidence better than "Knight will be a free agent". Half the league will be a free agent in the next 18 months. If GM's operate under that fear and that fear alone they wont be able to survive the 2016 bonanza. GM's are going to be forced to gamble with retaining players more and more in free agency. That's just the nature of the next few years going into the new CBA. The whole "Player can leave, we should trade him so we don't get left high and dry" fear narrative doesn't really mean much right now.
