Seriously -- Silver should just act unilaterally and move the Kings to Anchorage.

There is no point since there is 0 chance he gets traded, especially to the suns.

I know they would want more, but look at all the other star players being traded. Non of them came even close to equal value. A couple first round picks and young talent seems like the best you can get.

Boston holds Brooklyn's pick next season unprotected. That could turn out to be in the high lottery or even #1.

And Atlanta holds Brooklyn's pick for this year. And it's unprotected. Atlanta could easily scrape together $9 million in salary to throw at Sacramento along with the Nets pick for DeMarcus if they decide to to all-in with this bunch.

a 3 month rental of Gogi, an injury prone big man, 2 picks and garbage isn't "the best you can get" I can guarantee it.

Karl might listen, but their owner Vivek might not.

Lmao why would the Kings give up a young up and coming Cousins for a Dragic who's not getting younger! He's gonna be in the wrong side of 30 soon!

Im not tryign to argue that there ARENT better offers if he becomes available. All i was trying to say is they will never be able to get equal value.

NO. Len is younger more years cheaper and with more upside than Val alone.
Ross is at this point just young filler.

The Suns can make the best offer.

That doesn't mean it happens. It is very shocking that they consider it a possibility.
And VERY suscpicious. Things must be very awful in the Kings FO and all we just know the tip of the iceberg.

Cousins is top 10 in the league in close to being untradeable and you think Suns will get him for spare parts

We could also offer Dwight and some spares in that case.

Does Goran get traded to Houston if/when the Suns realize they can't get Cousins by this year's deadline? Or are the Suns really thinking they can get Cousins in the offseason?

Well I agree with that, I was just saying that the suggested Phoenix offer was terrible and the only thing it would do is take some heat off of Presti for making the worst trade in recent NBA history.

seriously if the Kings want to move boogie now is the time - he is having his best season coming off the all-star game there are plenty of teams that would love to have boogie. Boston has so much to offer they'd flip plenty of the hoarded picks they have for Boogie to pair him up with Smart.

I doubt that would happen - Vivek is majority owner but Shaq is also minority owner he would flip if the Kings tried to flip Boogie without his blessing. If anything I would expect Shaq to **** block any deal for Boogie

Getting screwed twice at the last minute by the Heat is not an appealing thought. Great post!

yeah and the Lakers pick will be either 6 this year or lottery again next year . Much better insurance. Especially after having to sell to your fans the idea of giving away your superstar.

THERE IS NO TEAM that can make a better offer than Suns.
Except the Bucks. But it won't happen 100%. So the Suns hope I guess
