You should too as well prepare yourself.
To give you an example from the Bucks that I am spending the last week horrified looking at the numbers : knight will go for 13-14 and Middleton for 10-13
Giannis extension will be around 20 mil +.

    The situation has changed.
Also fully expect DMO to demand 14 million this summer.

Keeping Dmo and Jones is a great Smith insurance policy, in case he bolts in free agency. They are also both under rookie scale contracts. The Dragic negotiations need to be about picks and/or Capella.

It's very arrogant to expect always to rape another in a trade. Especially a very bright in negotiations FO like the Suns.

He's not a free agent. He makes no demands.

Was trying to tweet at Huq the other day asking if it would be best to lock D-Mo up early. Anyone have an opinion on this?

JMO, but 5 years $80 million seems fair to me. I'd be shocked if NY or LA gave him the full $105-110 million, but crazier things have happened.

I'm fully aware But PGs and PFs are so easy to find now. If he wants 14 mil, we will trade him for a draft pick and replace him.

considering his upward trajectory and the SPIKE of the cap in 2016 absolutely.
That summer everyone will have money to throw around. Dmo will be a target for many being a 25 yo pf/c who can pass and defend.
You can save a lot of money by agreeing now. Unless Morey is not prepared and decides to trade him. Now or in the summer.

While those positions may be easy to find, I don't think that a legitimate create-your-own offense post scorer is easy to find at all, and that's why it'll be very important to lock up D-Mo.

Lets all pray for that, would hate to give up either DMO or Jones, but I'm willing to part with either if it can get the rockets Goran Dragic.

but not trade him for Dragic? such genius strategy.
You can book it that he will ask for this. Or you can live in your dreamland.

I don't think morey will extend him. He wants that flexibility for Durant's Summer.

DHo's personality may be a nonstarter for some folks yet I didn't see any dearth of suitors for him.

GD to Rox IMO will likely require a 3-way: McBob or Taj going to PHX and better matches with Rox and Heat and/or Bulls. IMO, of course.

WIth the cap going up can you give Dragic say 4 years 76 million and still be in play to offer Durant the max.

You've got to believe that Morey still thinks we can get Durant, however small those chances are.

Maybe because of his personallity and that he only looked for major markets?

McBob is out for the season and don't expect him to be involved in any trade. Bulls will REQUIRE back a very very good wing and possibly a first.
Not worth it imo he is almost 30 after all.

My bet is we here one of two things today:

"Suns meeting with Dragic camp was productive. Suns have renewed confidence that they can keep him"

    or

"After meeting with Dragic camp, Suns remain open to trade talks. Expect Lakers, Houston to be aggressive."

Either way, I expect a lot of fruitless F5'ing today and tomorrow.
