http://www.draftexpress.com/profile/George-De-Paula-80325/ Currently ranked as late first rounder, he's very likely to enter this draft and may elevate his stock in the upcoming Nike Hoop Summit. 6"5' natural PG with rumored 7"1' wingspan and strong frame, the raw phisical talent is too good to pass up. He's also got some skills and acceptable shooting as 18 years old. The performance at the U18 FIBA Americas Championship and Nike Global Challenge are decent. I think drafting for upside is the right approach even for contending teams. Most rookie's don't perform well enough to be in the rotation right away. Free agency is the way to go for immediate help.
for 4th overall pick he is underpeforming, doubt he gets any good contract when he's done with Bobcats and I bet they won't pick up team option in 16/17
He seems to develop fast in last year. Outside of top10, I can't find another player as interesting as him. Pel pick is probably more than enough to get him though.
Does that mean he will suck in seasons 1-3 but will become legendary in seasons 4-6 before hanging it up for good?
Scout: "Daryl, the possibility of successfully developing this player is approximately 3,720 to 1." Morey: "Never tell me the odds."
He's on Bruno Caboclo's old team. Do they have a secret of growing wingspan? Sounds like he improved the shooting. I'd grab him with the PEL pick unless a top prospect drops to us.
http://www.draftexpress.com/profile/George-Lucas-80325/ Official measurements are out. Now that the PEL pick may not be in lottery, I feel more comfortable to grab him in mid first round.
