Gallinari? I thought Denver too, since I doubt SVG is hated, but "it's so cold in the D" is a song by a Detroit artist, so i'm confused..
Yes, he did say that. I guess he would be interested in us to some extent after his meeting with Harden.
I asked him about that for clarification, he said that there sure wouldn't be any sort of discounts, so i think its about money.
"A couple of years ago, homie hit on somebody too much, and he was shipped to another coast." -> sounds like Melo hitting on hometown which is why Gallinari was shipped to west coast.
Les had nothing to do with the decision not to give Goran the player's option. Les did have something to do with making sure we got Lin. He wanted Lin and he approved the overpay of Lin.
We are nearing the finish of this seven-month, nearly 26,000-post journey. It started with a page from Eddiewassnubbed to Cyberex. How will it all end?
Drafting a player in the 12-18 range is a good way to decrease the value of an asset. Once the player is drafted all the intrigue is gone out of the pick. That player (unless they're the overall #1 pick) will not be worth as much in trade as the same pick in a future draft unless they are that 1 in 100 player that comes out of the gates swinging and establishes themselves on day 1 as a starter/potential all-star. The way to increase the value of the asset is to trade it and another asset for a future pick that has a great chance of being a higher pick than the current pick.
I gotta believe this thread will never die. Let's say we trade for Dragic, then this thread will be littered with will he resign. Then with will Howard opt in or out, etc. etc. etc.
