The fact that they are even having a meeting actually gives me more hope than any of the "insiders" ever have. That tells me there is at least the possibility of a trade and they want to get it figured out now whether they can keep him. If Dragic says he isn't 100% going to stay, they probably trade him.

What did Phx expect to happen when they signed a 3rd ball dominant PG?? I called it when it happened, knew they were screwing themselves trying to pay 3 PGs. Obviously one of them (at least) will want to move on. And by signing IT they gave the impression that they were ready to move on from Dragic... Horrible job by their front office.
So true. It was clear from the beginning that it wasn't just about the money. Dragic looked at the Suns and the rockets because they could both offer money and a starting job. Dragic wanted to start! What in the hell were the Suns thinking when they signed Thomas? Even if it was Beldoe/Dragic insurance it was always gonna guarantee Dragic wouldn't resign in Zona.

I think they'll ask for a commitment to stay and sign a new deal, Dragic's agent won't give it, then they'll trade him.
Maybe they wanted to stockpile assets and try to flip one or two of those guards into a player at another position. If Morey coughs up D-Mo for Dragic, it'll have worked.
