<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>The Jazz are actively looking for trades for Kanter, and if they can get an asset in return w/o long term harm, they'd probably do it.</p>— Andy Larsen (@andyblarsen) <a href="https://twitter.com/andyblarsen/status/567397756545679360">February 16, 2015</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
Zach Lowe pointed out today that Kanter has 26 total freaking assists for the whole season, which laughable and pathetic.
You could easily structure a 3 team trade with Kanter going to PHX, Dragic coming to Houston and TJones going to Utah. (also need salaries moving back and forth such as Papa, Canaan, etc.) Something like: Utah In: Papa, Tjones Utah out: Kanter Hou in: Dragic, Plumlee Hou out: Papa, TJones, Canaan, 1st rd pick Phx in: Kanter, Canaan, 1st rd pick via Houston Phx out: Dragic Plumlee Swap pieces around to make it make sense for each team, but it could be done if Phx wants Kanter.
Not sure, dude plays no defense. Who the **** needs a center who plays no defense LOL that's like getting a pg who can't create...maybe the Rox are interested
You're wrong for thinking all of this. Our team has the talent to win a championship. Its all about increasing our odds by improvements. To say we don't have a chance with our current team is blatantly incorrect.
I disagree. Dorsey can block a shot every now and then, rebounds, and is a decent defender in his limited minutes..
From another board regarding Dragic to the Rockets for Dmo. Wouldn't surprise me if we end trade DMo for Dragic and little to nothing for Kanter to replace him.
Houston DefRtg 100.3 Howard DefRtg 97.4 (32.2 minutes per) Dorsey DefRtg 103.0 (11.7 minutes per) Dorsey DefRtg 104.4 as starter in 9 games @ 14.9 minutes per. Beverley + Howard DefRtg 100.1 in 27 games and 667 minutes. Beverley + Dorsey DefRtg 107.7 in 29 games and 216 minutes. Utah DefRtg 106.1 Kanter DefRtg 108.0 in 49 games and 27.1 minutes per. Dorsey isn't a good defender and Beverley really misses Howard's rim protection.
Enes kanter had Ty corbin as his coach. Put him on a winning team and see his numbers rise up. As reeko said, Morey has been after him since the draft and i do remember that as well. What i'm saying is, Kanter would really benefit from a winning culture vs what he had in Utah and you would be crazy not to trade Dorsey for Kanter straight up.

I think Kanter's problem is he thinks he's a Vucevic, whereas in reality he's just a slimmer Pekovic.
He's actually in between. If you look at his per 100 stats he is closer to Vicevic than Pekovic. He hasn't gotten the minutes in Utah. Vucevic got traded to Orlando and went straight to 33+ mpg. Kanter has crept up to his high this year, but is still just at 27 a game. In his mind he's thinking he's been on a crappy team, and while his defense hasn't been stellar, he should be getting the minutes to improve his game and show what he can do. He probably thought this was the year that would happen, and Gobert gets a lot better. I'm not saying I think Kanter is great and deserves max money... but I am pointing out that he probably is best off on a different squad, be it a competing one where he adds value from a +/- perspective either off the bench or as a really really good complimentary player.... or on another sucky team where he can at least get 33-36 mpg.
