Agree with you. I think Goran has lost trust in Suns front office. What's to say they dont trade for another guard after he re-ups and can't go anywhere.
Canaan is a Dleaguer. He can't even stay on the rockets roster, never the less in the actual rotation. Saying he's anywhere near Thomas's level is beyond r****ded. I promise if Canaan could put up even half of Thomas numbers he would be a permanent player in our rotation.
I know we aren't a scrub team, the Kings were a scrub team, and that's where IT scored 20 points a game on 15 shots a game. Either way, I don't know why we are wasting so much time talking about IT, there's very little chance the Rockets have interest in trading for a rich man's Canaan that we'd be stuck with.
solid string of posts - agreed wholeheartedly. morey isn't going to paint himself into a corner by saying dragic or nothing. if he thinks he can make the team better AND create flexibility with an IT/Plumlee (for example) trade and dragic proves to be too costly than that's the route he'll take. only thing i'm concerned with is not standing pat if the opportunity to get better presents himself. we have a very limited window with dwight - if the consensus inside the rockets FO that dwight may not make it back to form than you still need to improve (and flexibility becomes even more important).
nothing impressive with thomas's level. he put up numbers on a horrible team. obviously he didn't contribute anything to winning. give cannon the same amount of shots and he probably could do the same. IT is a chucker

With Nik Stauskas on the block, could we see Morey make a move for him (similar to the Thomas Robinson deal)
He's putting up the same numbers this year on a playoff level team. If you look at his #'s and his per 36, he's putting up identical #'s to last year, he's just not getting the minutes because he's in a huge logjam with Bledsoe and Dragic. Which makes his production even more impressive.

Mchale put Canaan in when Teryy couldn't score and he went 0-6 lol there's plenty of guys on bad teams who can't put up 20 ppg.
