The man is only an inch shorter then Ty Lawson. You have to look at other measurements (pause) like arm length, etc.
What suns fans say is irrelevant. He can pass, its proven. If he's not passing in phx its because that's not his role and they haven't asked him to, he's the best offensive player they have (IMO) he should be looking to score in their system, he's a spark plug scorer off the bench for them right now. Our situation is different, we have a superstar and a need for a facilitator (when hardens off the court), he will and can pass if asked to. He would be inna traditional starting role like he was with the kings, he will also be sharing the ball with superstars (Cousins and Gay = Harden and Howards in terms of touches).

really? So I guess you know more about what happened when he was in Detroit than the actual fans that had to go through one of the worst starts in their franchices history ? Or are the players' and the GM's who waived him PR answers now hold at truth value. There is a reason he was waived and there was a reason noone would trade anything for him. He was a cancer on the court. I never said he was in the lockeroom. He disrupted team chemistry and lead to losses. Just because HE works now in Houston and everyone is happy with him it doesn't rewrite or change the past.
If Thomas is the guy, then expect our ISO ways to go up ten fold. While IT is a playmaker, he is only good at that for his own shot. He'll make the swing pass every now and then, but his playmaking is very similar to Harden except less passing. That's bad news of the defense doesn't have to change the way it plays.
He can obviously play but would think Canaan do most if not all of what he does at a lot cheaper price.
People on here talking about IT defense as if Bevs defense has been so great this year!! I can't see IT playing any worse D than Terry! Rockets need help scoring! We keep saying we need someone who can create for others but really the biggest issue is that the scoring is completely gone when Harden sits! IT can score! He can create his own shot which is what Houston needs! Dragic is ideal but people on here talking like IT is a bum! He avg 20ppg in the NBA at some point! His defense isn't great! But he can hold his own on the offensive end where Houston desperately needs help!
That's speculation! Can Canaan avg 20ppg for an entire season like IT did at one point? Rockets need someone who is proven! Mchale isn't gonna give Canaan the play time. Rockets fans need to jump off that train already!
Goran has told Suns management he will re-up if Bledsoe or Thomas is traded. Could be why Suns want us to take IT.
We aren't a scrub team. That is why Canaan is feeling a lot of pressure coming back after his injury.
