We need a wheel barrel for the bs you are peddling. IT is a 20 ppg scorer, who is a very good passer. He sucks on D, but that is why you have Bev. 7 million a year (for a 24 yr old) is much better than 15-20 million a yr (for a 30 yr old) who had the same exact offensive stats last year. This team DESPERATELY needs an offensive dynamo and a backup center and we could get both in a trade with Phoenix....assuming they include Wright or Plumlee. This is the move that separates us from the pack and I hope Morey goes through with it.

That's not true. Every Piston and the coach are on record that Smith had no character issues there. As far as his role, his coach decided to run the offense through him. He was just a bad fit there.

Trades are fluid and dependant on both sides actually agreeing. One thing I hate about this forum is we can't seem to understand that a trade rumor can be real and not happen .... Because both sides have to agree.

there is a difference between speculation and trade rumor. If you don't understand that and how it draws the ire of the general board, then I can't help you. Over the past year, too many posters have tried pawning off speculation as inside rumor. Bball has taken it to a different level in this when all he's really doing is pulling it from his ass. My point, was that he's so bad at this practice, that he missed one of the most obvious targets out there.
I have to disagree. It's been a magnet for posts that would otherwise have resulted in separate threads in the GARM, littering the landscape, so to speak. In my opinion, anyway. It's served that purpose whether one buys the "inside information" or not, and has also been where cyberx has made most of his posts, posts that are taken seriously by most of us here. A bazillion posts back, I thought the thread was "off the rails" due to others posting what they purport to be insider stuff, but eventually I saw the light. In other words, things could be a hell of a lot worse, and who knows? Maybe there will be a surprise coming out of this epic thread with the misspelled title.
Rockets should aquire Thomas if they can get him for next to nothing and if Dragic and Lawson are out the picture.
