Patrick Beverley selected for the NBA Skills Challenge at All-Star Game

It takes skillz to win the NBA skillz challenge without having the skillz to pass or dribble.

 

I don't mind at all being called out, although I don't consider myself a hater.

TBH, Beveley winning the contest is even funnier than him being selected to participate. I like it. It's pure entertainment gold.

Haha, honestly before it happened I had a feeling that Beverley would win, pretty hilarious.

 

they should have rules for doulbe dribbling and travel. 3 strikes or something. even if someone brought up that he'd do that i wouldnt expe thim to whin. and harden with the 2nd lowest 3pters. its all ass backwards for the rockets on all star saturday

 

Couldn't dribble, couldn't pass, fumbled the ball a few times and an epic travel looking like Arian Foster carrying the ball at the end yet somehow he won so props to him.

Funniest part was the kid at :35 sec mark. I made the same face and reaction.

I was correct.

 

Lol I had to re-watch that. He essentially could not dribble well and was slow but he made some 3 pointers in a row.

 

I hope everyone is enjoying their bowl of crow this morning.

 

He is the sort of aggressive underdog that Houston always needed, needs and will continue need.

So are there no rules that you have to dribble?? Glad Pat one but it seems pretty silly that this is a skills competition yet Pat demonstrated lack of knowledge of basic fundamentals lol.

 

Best comedy award.... he won because both Knight and Teague could not hit a 3 pointer

Where was Lowry after his first showing?

 

I was the only person on the first few pages to not talk s*** about our guy. Y'all should have more faith.

 

Congrats Bev. Hopefully he keeps hitting that 3 point shot when it counts.

 

Shooting the 3 is a basic fundamental too you know

The best part is that in every round, Beverley had some sort of double dribble/travel. hahaha too funny!
