DMO is not untradeable, but for Dragic, no way the Rockets should trade him for Gogi.

What if you could replace Dmo with Taj Gibson by trading the Pelicans pick?

    Dragic
    Harden
    Ariza
    Gibson
    Howard

Why not just keep DMo and pick up Gogi and have a better team?

Need more scoring out of that frontline.

Even if it is the most talented starting 5 in the NBA we don't have enough meat up front to get out of the West. Look at who we're playing and be realistic.

No. He can be kept, but the other factor in this that receives scant attention is the reality that you'd be committed to that core.

Clutch doesn't make arbitrary polls imo.

If he brought it up, it's probably on the table.

If it comes down to Dmo or jones/pelly pick for Dragic, I might consider moving Dmo.

Scoring is scoring, doesn't really matter where it comes from. And both PFs score 11 points on 9 shots, so I don't agree with your point.

If Dmo goes out, I'd move jones for Kevin Martin, and the pelly pick for Gibson.

    dragic / beverley
    Harden / Martin
    Ariza / Brewer
    Gibson / Smith
    Howard / Dorsey

That team has everything you need.

I voted yes, but only from the perspective that Dragic > DMo. You'd typically always trade for a better player regardless of position, but ESPECIALLY in a position of need.

The question is what ELSE we'd have to give up for Goran. The NO first rounder and DMo is my limit. If we have to add Terry and/or Pap, we need more in return. Namely, Plumlee.

So you are telling me to be realistic after you say "You trade DMo for Kevin Love."

Next time you post don´t forget to tell me what is gsw "meat up front" (okc if you want to).

People talk a lot about rotation, you have a coach that plays the same 9 guys regardless of how tired/bad they are playing in the regular season, in the playoffs the rotation will stay the same but with even less minutes to the bench guys.
With McHale as a coach we might as well not have a bench and go for the most talented starting 5, don´t forget we play "we are more talented then you" offense.

But hey no need to speculate more, I just wanted to put it out there that people have been overrating Dmo for a while and it shows in this pole like crazy.

I would not because there' no guarantee we'd get to keep Dragic beyond this season.

Only move Dmo if Dragic agrees to re-up

I doubt the offer is just DMO and not the NOP pick as well. Otherwise the Lakers offer will be better considering it will lead to a top 10 pick most likely.

I'm sure most would be perfectly happy with that team. If Morey can pull off those subsequent moves and if Dwight is healthy, which we won't know.

This conversation will change when opposing players/teams actually know who Motiejunas is and start planning defenses around his game. He moves at 1/2 NBA speed and can't jump over a phone book so what do you think will happen when teams start fronting him and sending double teams from different angles? It won't be good for him and I'm not sure he is a guy who can adjust based on his physical limitations.

Honestly, I don't see DMo being THE sticking point of a Dragic trade. He is just another asset in Houston's collection. They can negotiate a deal with him in it, or without him in it. It all just depends on what else is included.

Morey has never been willing to include more than what is necessary to get a deal done. Even the Harden deal didn't include all of the Rockets' assets-- he didn't trade, for example, DMo, Jones and White in the package for Harden. So here, too, he probably will try hard to not pay more than what is necessary.

That might mean not including DMo. It might mean giving up DMo and other pieces but holding back the New Orleand pick (and using that pick in a separate deal for a big man or whatever). It might mean giving up DMo and the pick but getting additional pieces back from Phoenix (like Brandan Wright or whatever).

If Terrence Jones ever gets close to where he was at at the start of the season, yes you trade DMo. Everyone needs to be healthy (unlikely) but we would be a contender for sure.

    Howard/Smith
    Jones/Smith
    Ariza/Brewer
    Harden/Terry
    Dragic/Beverley

You just can't pass that up.

It's risky though, Jones looks awful since coming back from injury, he has to regain his form.

Suns are making no sense. They are not anywhere soon with Dmo or Dragic.

Uh, haha, he'll turn into the next Dream, duh!!! I agree, I think he's good but he's a good role player, if he gets focused on, I don't think he'll do well. Hell, he rebounds like he's 6 foot or something...

Here's another question, if DMo got traded, what player would the forum latch on to next as an unproven untradable player? Hmm, probably... Dorsey! :)

I am surprised by the poll results to be honest.

I like Dmo, but we urgently need a playmaking PG, not to mention TJones and Smith can fill up the PF spot.
