22 vs 45 free throws? Did they really get fouled that much more than us?

    Hey. Pipe down.

Don't you know that is God McHale's Plan B through Z?

If the Harden iso doesn't work. Just keep jack jacking away.

It is actually a big reason why we lose games that are winnable.

Because we go through a few minute spell where ALL we do is pump away from the 3 point line.

If we just continued to run an offense (silly me right, wishing this with McHale as head coach) we wouldn't be essentially turning the ball over time and time again with misses.

But I digress. Common sense doesn't seem to be the motto of McHale.

Can anyone explain what happened to harden last night? Only caught the 1st quarter seemed like he was in rhythm.

Another loss to the Clippers. Why can't the Rockets beat them?

We lost to the Clippers without BG. If there ever was a time where we would habe any semblance of a chance to best the Clippers, it was today.

Seriously, with matchups in mind, we are pretty much every team's b**** which is why no one rates us come playoffs. GSW and the Clippers will sweep us. Spurs are a whole different ball game in the post season. Memphis are built for half court ball. We can't guard LMA so Portland would be 50/50 at best. The Mavs are the only team we'd have a half decent crack. With all this said, our best player isn't even playoffs proven so you can see why some of us fans and the media are pessimistic about our chances.

    And gumbleton nailed it.

Just avoid the Warriors, Clippers, Thunder & Spurs and the Rockets are in good shape!:rolleyes:

So Memphis, Portland(saw how that went last year), Dallas & Phoenix...

I excluded Phoenix and OKC cause we won't be number 1 seed. It is painful reading how some of us think we are contenders. Charles is a moron on a lot of things but he is right about us not making any noise come playoffs.

I know Harden has a lot of pressure on him with limited help in the backcourt, but I was hoping for a better game from him.
I know he is a determined young man, who will fight back.
    Go James, Go Houston Rockets!

I would be happy with a match up vs the Clippers in the playoffs. Considering Harden scores 20 more points that he did last night on that amount of shots, this game is an outlier.

We lost to the Clippers without Dwight…or anyone near 7 feet, D-Mo doesn't count…It seems like we've been saying this since Chuckwagon was patrolling the paint: We need a back-up center & a back-up point guard.

Very very disappointing lose last night. 36 missed three pointers wow. This is why I don't like our offensive scheme. When the three isn't falling we look a hot mess. When we are not going to the foul line, our offense is very simplistic and boring.

Mchale has to find better ways to getting Harden easier shots when teams like the Clippers start doubling and triple team him.

The time Canaan has gotten post injury has been garbage minutes, not meaningful ones. And they been in short stints, players can't get into the rhythm like that. Dmo went through this his first 2 years not getting consistent minutes. The pre injury canaan with consistent minutes as a starter is more of what you would truly get from him. My guess is Mchale really values Terry coming off the bench for the veteran leadership.

Clippers show book in how to beat Rockets, but book must contain a true big man rim protector, so Clips unique in that regard.

I just pulled up some quick stats from the last 3 seasons playing the clippers where we are 1 - 8. We do have trouble with Deandre Jordan and Blake but, the key from the stats is the incredible low 3 point shooting percentage compared to season average. Plus this year, they are taking way more 3s against the clippers, average 41 attempts and only shooting 25%. They need to stop jacking up 3s against these clippers.

    2014/2015 ( 0 - 2)

    3P/3PA = 10/41
    3P% = 25% (Season AVG 35%)
    Points Allowed = 106 (Season AvG 100)
AVG Tot. Reb Allowed = 47 (Season AVG 43)

    2013/2014 (0 - 4)
    3P/3PA = 7/25
    3P% = 28% (Season AVG 37%)
    Points Allowed = 116 (Season AVG 103)
AVG Tot. Reb Allowed = 42 (Season AVG 42)

    2012/2013 (1 - 3)
    3P/3PA = 9/28
    3P% = 32% (Season AVG 38%)
    Points Allowed = 101 (Season AVG 103)
AVG Tot. Reb Allowed 37 (Season AVG 42)

It doesn't matter who we play in the playoffs. From seeds 1-8 all the teams will be a battle. Look what happened last year everyone wanted Portland. Win all the games you can and get the best seed possible.

Furthermore, of the 8 losses during this stretch, here is how they went down. It's amazing how the Rockets have constantly gave up leads and allowed a surge from the Clippers on just about every game. Out of the 8 losses we had leads going into the halftime, you would have hoped the Rockets could have won 1 or 2 of those games. I'm just so frustrated and watching the Rockets lose to the stupid Clippers! It's almost automatic now that they will lose, I may not even bother watching the next one!!!
