Thanks.Man...hope you are right. I think we certainly make the playoffs but I'm thinking we could be a 5. We are a point shooting team and when we don't hit, we are in trouble. The Thunder will make a run IMO.

 

I agree, but tonight it wouldn't have made much difference.

Already without Howard, with Harden ice-cold, nowhere else to turn.

DMo was ineffective, even Smith was overpowered down low by Jordan. If Ariza can't guard Crawford, who can? probably you could throw a doubleteam at him, but it will just create other areas for Paul to exploit.

 

Exactly what I've been saying. And I think it will be a huge positive.

 

Well, I hate that GSW and the clips own us.

James Harden played in 9/10 games. The only game that the Rockets have won against the Clippers in the last 3 years is the game that Harden missed.

There just might be something to the whole, "The Clippers are a bad match up for the Rockets" thing...

 

Yeah its not sad when you know how overrated we are.

 

Which team we don't have to worry for the 1st round?

 

We cannot win a playoff series taking 40+ threes. There will be some games when what happened today will happen again. It is just inexcusable, why can't we run some plays for D-Mo in the post? Our 4th quarter offense was too predictable: brick threes.

Playoffs is a whole different story, regular season records mean little

 

Honestly speaking the best match up for the Rockets in round 1 would be the Spurs.

 

Really hope that is not the team the Rockets play in the 1st. Even though they are led by Choke Paul, they seem to have the Rockets' number since Harden arrived.

It is not a "might". It is a 100% certainty.

 

Knew we'd lose going in, for some reason still tortured myself and watched the game. For whatever reason we always go full r****d against the Clippers. And James Harden had his usual ****ty game against them.

We simply weren't focused tonight, when the entire team misses that many wide open three pointers and has that many turnovers, it's a focus issue. Seemed like they just wanted to get this game over with before the all star break.

I do believe though that with a healthy Dwight we are better than the Clippers this season, without Dwight though we are toast inside, as is the case against most western conference playoff teams.

 

Clippers can't even make it to western conference finals because elite teams know how to expose them. We are not elite right now we are just a undisciplined turnover prone team.

They need to trade Ariza or Beverly because you can't two starters that shoots as bad as they do. Wide open shoots and they keep on bricking it.

 

Well, time to get that six hours of sleep. Should have just slept in the first place!

 

The Rox should be striving toward a level where they are not absolutely getting own like this by one team. I understand teams being unfavorable match ups, but true contenders don't get owned like this by any team. But as is, the Rox are not true contenders. Not even with a healthy Dwight. This team is poorly configured for how they want to play (no pure shooters, one play making guard, etc.) Harden has to be on it most of the time or the team doesn't have much of a chance.
