Right now Beverly is such a liability to the team. I was a big fan last year when he brought the D but he brings NOTHING to the table right now. And what's frustrating is that we have a few guys sitting on the bench that can score. With Beverly the Clippers are basically doubling down on Harden and making everyone else beat them.
I don't usually use the term knee-jerk but it applies here. He hasn't been playing well lately and he is a 2nd string pg but whose fault is it that we are starting him? Be patient Im sure we will have another guard soon.
I wonder if Canaan is going to be another Covington. I don't mean being cut. But just exiting the Rockets - and then going and lighting it up for another team. The worst thing is - we have seen what Canaan can do on the offensive end. And being an offensively challenged team bar one player - you'd think his exact skill set would be needed like a sip of whiskey on a Friday night. Keep making those exasperated faces though McHale. The look of utter bewilderment gets real old after a while.
Such an insightful thread. I'm so glad you purposely made a thread for this because we don't want to get such amazing opinions lost in the game thread. /s
Yeah, a little knee jerk cause it's so hard to watch and I've yet to see McHale make a change. The bottom line is McHale needs to sit Bev and play someone that can contribute in any meaningful way. We know Canaan can score and Nick Johnson can rebound and create shots with his ability to penetrate the D. All I see Bev doing is dancing around the 3-pt line with no dribble penetration, and horrible shooting.
Thanks for the meaningful discussion. How old are you, 5? Here's a link for you called Gold Fishing: http://www.knowledgeadventure.com/games/gold-fishing/ Enjoy!
You should be asking yourself the "How old are you, 5?" question. You can't even spell Beverley correctly, dumbass.
Insightful analysis. Never heard this before being posted. I guess we have a stud sitting on the bench, waiting to take his minutes and steal his starting spot. Can't wait to see the new guy!
not having a PG and a C right now is just painful...teams dont have to worry about Bev or Dorsey.... I mean damn, drives me nuts watching our offensive sets
I love Beverly, but right now is kind of like when Dwight decided he wanted to be a post-up player and not the PnR guy he was in Orlando. Beverly needs to go back to what made him soar last yr. None of those iso offensive plays he hits at like a 2% clip.
