Too true. Post about your depression here. If you are happy, tell us that you are, and explain why. What a bummer.

Whats going to happen to all the drones that get news/education from a comedy show? If msnbc plays this right, their ratings will double!

I'm the Jon-iest Jon that ever Jon-ned but I'm not mourning. I'm glad as a friend that he knew when he was burnt out.

I guess it's clear to which world you belong.

Anyway, The Daily Show is witty, smart, and a hell of a lot of fun. Stewart never takes himself too seriously. I don't watch his show too often but I get a great laugh every time I watch. I'm curious where he'll land next and who'll replace him.

With Stewart and Colbert gone from Comedy Central, where will children get what they think is the news?

I'm a big fan of Jon Stewart (and Bill Maher).

Stopped watching once Colbert left. Sadly to say, The Daily Show began its decline a few years ago and is moving on in good fashion. Good for him.

I haven't seen The Daily Show in years, but I enjoyed it when I used to watch occasionally. I wish Stewart well in whatever he does next.

Why are conservatives so bad at comedy?

I wouldn't make that blanket statement, I've seen some horribly unfunny people that were very liberal and I've seen some horribly unfunny people that were very conservative. Colbert and Stewart were both extremely funny at times (Colbert a lot more so than Stewart) but I don't think it had anything to do with their political ideology.

Time to move on to the 50+ white creatures that get what they think is news from Fox.

No, conservatives in general are bad at comedy.

I think they're checking with advertisers and doing market testing and polling before Williams is fully released, he could still hypothetically hurt them on another network.

It could be worth asking why that's so important.

You know who else is bad at comedy?

And you know who is really, really good at comedy?

It's not important to have good comedy unless you want to enjoy life.
