Fair trade but I would rather lose DMO then to lose Ariza... He does so many little things for us. That being said if we could swing a second deal sending our pick and Terry for Afflalo then I am all for it.

    Howard/Smith
    DMO/Jones
    Afflalo/Green
    Harden/Brewer
    Dragic/Bevery

Afflalo can make up for the loss of Ariza and Goran is a huge upgrade at the one.

I'd rather have Wilson Chandler as a replacement for Ariza...that guy can play.

I like Ariza but your suggestion is a good one. Goran, plus Wilson while retaining D-Mo would be great for us. Alas, these things are very hard to pull off.

    http://www.brightsideofthesun.com/2015/2/10/8013795/suns-vs-rockets-why-dragic-is-untradeable

As was pointed out many times during the game last night, the three guard lineup has the Suns in disarray. Last offseason they signed Isaiah Thomas to a large contract, Eric Bledsoe to a huge contract and drafted Tyler Ennis. Dragic will definitely opt out this summer, so they would be out of their minds to re-sign him and have even more money locked up in their PGs than they do now. Dragic is having to play out of position, so they are not even getting the full production that they need out of him right now. The Suns would be crazy not to trade him now and get something for him rather than letting him walk at the end of the year. They have played at the peak of their ability so far this season and it has only gotten them to an 8th seed, and it may not even be good enough to keep them that high until the end of the season. A trade right now could actually increase their playoff chances this year while improving them for the future.

I think the one thing that write-up doesn’t take into consideration is a three-team trade. One of the reasons I think the Rockets haven’t made a trade already is that they are waiting for the ability to package Shved. If they could work a deal where they could send out some combination of Shved, K-Pap, Terry and the Pelicans pick while bringing in Dragic and getting someone like Lance Stephenson to the Suns*, I think it would be a good deal for all involved.

*In the trade above, Jones & Dmo's salaries are substituted for Shved's since the machine will not allow him to be used at this time.

I like this quite a bit though Jones would be gone in the first trade.

i think this is the trade to go down its gonna be with picks but salaries work out. Suns get quality players for dragic to finally make the playoffs they will now have a formidable starting lineup instead of 3 guards

    Suns Lineup

    C Len
    Pf Morris
    SF Wilson Chandler
    SG Aaron Afflalo
    PG Eric Bledsoe

solid team now and nuggets add alot of youth and releif and they will be getting draft picks and rockets finally get their guy
take note this trade cant be made till the deadline bc schved cant be traded in a package until feb 18 deadline

Really anyone who wants to trade Ariza this season doesn't come close to understanding how much he means to this team. his 3 pt shooting has been up and down but his defense has been by FAR the best this year , not only does he cover his assignment prolifically , he also hides many of our players, defensive faults , just with his defensive savvy, positioning , and anticipation...he is Essential to this team if we hope of making a deep playoff run.. a Trade i have thought of and think would benefit it us greatly goes something like this...

    Hou In: Lawson
Hou Out: Kpap, Jones, No1, Capela,Cannon

    Den In:No 1st, MCW, Capela,
    Den Out:Lawson, Mcgee,

    Philly In: Mcgee, , Cannon,Kpap,jones
    Philly out: MCW,

    -Philly

They know they are probably still a couple of years from contending so mcgees contract is acceptable, plus next year he becomes a 13m expiring (asset)

Getting Cannon who is a capable backup currently with good potential , a up and coming pf in jones and a very flexible contract in kpap is more than philly can wish for trading away only MCW

    -Den

Get rid of Mcgees Contract...very big plus

Add MCW a NO1 and a promising C in capela.....might seem too low i could add terrys contract too if thats what it took

    -Hou

    Ty Freakin Lawson....

I prefer him over any pg available including tragic, his contract is very very favorable 2 years at 11M

He adds the playmaking we desperately need, gives the O a legit second creator , this opens up so many things and gives harden much needed relief

His D is something i worry about , but i do think he can improve to adequate ...beverly can always be a plan b late in games when d is needed

It makes this team deep, flexible, able to handle almost any situation given the circumstances of the game

    PG:Lawson,Beverly
    SG:Harden, Terry
    SF:Ariza Brewer
    PF: D-Mo,Josh
    C: Dwight, Dorsey

Calderon with 9 points and 7 assists....one turnover. That's all that I would ask of him. You know that he can hit the three and his free throws.....42% and 88% career. He's a Hell of a plan B.

Well, the Suns will get to the trade deadline clinging to 1/2 game lead on the Thunder for #8.

They might not want to be sellers when they are technically "in the playoffs" as of the deadline, but it seems like a pretty dumb move for the future of their franchise to hold onto Dragic and likely lose his to FA when they are almost assured of dropping from that #8 spot.

Rockets have to find a way to get Dragic or Lawson. Ideally Dragic (IMO) and then use Shved's contract or a buyout for a backup 5.

So Enes Kanter expects/wants to be traded before the deadline, but I wonder if someone (hopefully Houston) will be able to convince the Jazz to roll the dice with him and instead trade Gobert.

Dorsey and a future 1st for Gobert would be great for us, but not sure if the Jazz would do it, no matter the decision on Kanter. Maybe add the Denver 2nd, too? Sure would be a great pickup.

Dorsey, future 1st, 2015 Denver 2nd for Gobert. (Highly unlikely)
*If not this, maybe just Shved (salary), Dorsey, and the Denver 2nd for Kanter.

Terry, Jones, Canaan, Capela, and Pels pick for Dragic.

I'd be pretty pumped with those deadline deals.

They're not trading Gobert. Dude is becoming an elite rim protector.
