We took Olajuwon, they took Bowie. We gave Clyde a championship, he now broadcasts for our team, and is loyal to the Rockets. Some other reasons for them to hate us, but those two are right off the top of my head.
The Blazers are that ex girlfriend that's always talking **** about you when she's drunk, blasting you on social media, crying at the thought of you. & the Rockets are the boyfriend that's moved on & every time he hears about what drunk mess his ex gf is he's just like "meh".
There was enough goodwill for them to trade Clyde to us while he was still useful. I wonder if the fan hate is from last year or something deeper. With OKC, it visibly started with Rustlemania. If you want to go back further, we should hate the Sonics more than the opposite.
They just beat us in the playoffs. Their fans should still be in the "we're too good to even talk about you" mode right now.
the whole thing about harden being ugly to watch and all he does is flop and go to the free throw line is over played. Most people saying that do not watch rocket games outside of the games against their home team where they probably are furious that he put up 40 points on them.
they say that harden is annoying with his "flops" at the basket... funny, because it seems like lillard does a lot of the same when he drives and no one complains... I personally have nothing against blazers... im a texas fan so im glad to see Aldridge playing well right now

Didnt we lose the series? I havent cared for the Blazers, dont hate them but I spend my time worrying about the Rockets not them. Pety ass discussion from them.
Indeed, I hated Michael Jordan growing up and thought he got every foul call and got away with everything. As I got older, I somewhat see all the hate was mainly because he was just too damn good. Harden is becoming that for other teams and hopefully they will not have answers for him anymore. I love that he has torched some of the defenders that have given him trouble in the past recently. Wes Matthews and Tucker just got abused but I really wonder if the same calls will be made in the playoffs and/or Harden will be as aggressive. Not sure as an NBA fan how you can not appreciate his crossovers, dribbling, ability to create contact, step back 3 pointer, and passing. If not, then you are just being a homer.
I'm almost completely indifferent about the Blazers other than the fact that I hate their play style with the garbage long 2's and their fans are annoying. I don't know why their fans seem to think there is a rivalry between the Blazers and the Rockets, it's just not there.
I think we have more swag then them, and they envy that. We have the MVP candidate. We have the 3s and lay-ups offense. We have the Morey vs. Charles debate. Meanwhile, they may be as good or even slightly better than we are (without Dwight). Yet no one is talking about them.
