In 2014, James Harden averaged 28 points, 5 assists and 4 rebounds on an absurd 65TS%. Against the Kings, he dropped 43 points in 31 minutes and scored a game winner against the Wizards. In 2013, he averaged 29 points, 7 assists and 6 rebounds on an even more ridiculous 69TS%. Harden played perhaps his best game ever that month. Remember: It's 2015, now. 36 points, 7 assists, 7 rebounds, 67TS%. Dwight picked a good time to get hurt. James Harden is great all the time, but he's even better in February.
Thanks for the stats, but you misnamed the title of this thread. The "in February" part isn't necessary.
The thing about Harden is that this guy rarely can get hurt. I think he is just going to get better and will dominate the league for the next 3-4 years..
Only 28 days in February and if you factor in the All Star break, it makes sense why Harden would choose this month to step his game up. He has to dominate less games to become POTM vs other months. Very efficient
I know it was recently mentioned on air, I think, but I can't remember. Has ANYONE ever won Player of the Month three times in a row? At this pace, there can be no doubt who deserves it for February as well.
Harden reminds me of J.J. Watt. He's not overly tall and he's quite muscular. Good combination for durability. *knocks wooden desk that both those guys continue to not suffer any major injuries*
im pretty sure jordan won player of the month awards during the offseason. im being sarcastic but yes im almost certain jordan won plenty in a row.
*sees 2013 February stats*..."oh wow those are great numbers" *sees 2014 February stats*..."Wow Harden is unstoppable!" *sees 2015 February stats*..."MOTHER OF GOD"
