ClutchFans Game Thread: Rockets @ Clippers 2/11/2015

Sounds like a pretty good plan.

 

All our bigs always get into early foul troubles, especially DMo. He needs to start trying to take a charge on PnR, we need DMo more on the offense. Ball movement is better when he is in the game.

 

When was the last time Rox won against the Floppers?

 

If griffin was healthy and Crawford was out we'd have a better chance

 

A better plan would have been to draft Deandre Jordan instead of Joey Dorsey but hey we can still get by.

 

A few years ago when we just had Harden but Harden missed that game but we still won.

Crazy thing about that game is the Rockets didn't have not one player score over 15pts. Lin, Parsons, and Garcia each had 15.

 

Mr Crossover has something for us huh? He just seems to always go nuts, can we see a repeat of Harden's performance yesterday? Man I hope we win I am SICK AND TIRED of losing to the Clippers alot more than I am to the Warriors.

When is the last time that Harden played well against this team.

I don't know what his deal is with the Clippers but hopefully he can show up.

He looks so much better this year. I think he will finally own them.

 

Our breakthrough will eventually happen against the Clippers, perhaps starting tonight. At one time, we has an abysmal record against Dallas.

 

This. Crawford always morphs into Allen Iverson against us.

 

Box out jordan. Didn't he have like 27 rebounds against the Mavs?

 

We are catching the Clippers at a good time, but this will still be extremely tough to win.

Regardless of what Harden does, Rockets will lose unless the following two things both happen:
1) Any given Rockets big man nuts up and holds DJ to his season average in rebounding/paint scoring.
2) Beverley bucks his recent trend to at least land on "above average" in his defensive coverage of Paul.

We'll of course see Jamal "Michael Jordan" Crawford show up again, but Harden can outduel them all if Paul and Deandre are marginally well-contained.

Lot of ifs, and I haven't even mentioned the B2B. 105-97 Clippers. I look forward to being wrong.

Also, If i remember correctly, it was the 4th game in 5 days for Clips.

 

This will probably be the issue. I don't see us taking it if Harden & Bev are our leading rebounders again.
