Who threatens a lawsuit over social media? She must have a terrible lawyer.

That's a lot to ask for from most pizza delivery drivers. This one didn't even have the sense to tell his sister not to mention him...

Perhaps they shouldn't make the numbers accessible, period. Not sure why Iggy isn't using a fake name anyway...

Not sure the relevance of any of this. Companies are responsible for the actions of their employees. That's pretty basic stuff. If a bank has one employee steal a bunch of customer's cash, it doesn't absolve the bank of responsibility.

You not seeing the jokes isn't irrelevant to whether they were made. The first response by Papa John's mentioned one of her songs.

FWIW...I don't think she's actually suing. She just threatened a suit given the flippant response by pappa johns.

I've no idea what damages might be. But pappa's damage control team did not deliver. Once called out on social media by a celebrity they had to respond much better than this. Pink slips for everyone!

Dude, I understand your frustration, but you don't get it... whether it's right or not EVERY employer is responsible for their employees behavior whether or not they can effectively regulate it. That's just how the world works.

When you are performing your job and are acting as a representative of an organization, then the organization is just as responsible for your actions as you (at least in civil court).

Can Papa John's effectively control what this employee does with the store receipts? NO. Papa John's is still partially responsible because it's their fault for hiring someone that doesn't follow the rules...

I don't think anyone in this thread has recognized that Papa John's is a franchise. She can sue Papa John's all she likes but the franchisee is the business owner. And what kind of damages were really incurred here? The business owner....not Papa John's.....should reach out to her personally and try to resolve the situation.

"Papa" John is a dirty mother who treats his employees like ****. I hope Iggy drains that company of all its money, info breach is serious.

I've met him before when I use to live in DFW, when he was making commercials with Jerry Jones. Can confirm that he is a douche.

I'm more interested in this story than of the one regarding garbage fat-laden cheesebread and Marlon Wayans from White Chicks.

Would her accusing ALL of the drivers be considered libel?
