It's not even worth arguing with this guy....he thinks that we should gut our team for the current superstar named Joe Johnson.

I could see the Kings moving for Lawson.

    Canaan+NYK 2nd rounder+Kpap -> Collison/Evans.

I would do that. Evans doesn't do much for me but Collison as a cheaper backup PG would be a solid get. PLUS, in this scenario the Rockets KEEP TJONES & the NOP pick. Collison is probably the best PG that the Rockets could get without giving up the NOP pick.

The Nuggets would have to be really high on McLemore. I personally don't think much of Stauskas.

Damn you for making things easy!

If the Rockets did that, I'd want them to try to sniff around to see if there was another LONG wing player available that can D up. Maybe look at Dudley in Milwaukee.

I REALLY like Brewer "off the bench." Though in this scenario he would be put in the starting lineup. But I feel he won't be as effective with high usage.

I have been trying to brain storm what I thought would be good trades. I really think this may be one of the best trades proposed for all sides. Well played.

The Kings think quite highly of McLemore, he has very good upside. Stauskas is ok. I think Denver will ask for the Pelicans pick from us, who knows that might be the clincher to get Collison to the Rockets.

    Lol

I like Brewer off the bench as well, but the best part is we still have the NOP pick and Jones/Dmo to play with in trade scenarios.

Yep this is a good trade for every team

Start Brewer at the 3 yes.
    Dragic
    Harden
    Brewer
    Dmo
    Howard

Then maybe morey goes all in and packages Jones/NOP pick/ Fillers for someone else

If the Rockets moved Ariza in a Dragic deal, another wing player the Rockets could look at is Wilson Chandler of Denver. Having Wilson Chandler starting at the SF spot and Brewer off the bench wouldn't be too bad. PLUS, you get a "Chandler" back in Houston. :p

dam that would be amazing, plus since the Blazers want Wilson we can ruin their plans.

    Dragic
    Harden
    Chandler
    Dmo
    Howard

Bench: Bev, Terry, Brewer, Jsmoove. Thats a championship contender

Wade is out of the All Star game as expected.

I am hoping Korver gets that last spot over Brandon Knight. If Knight makes it, that would make it very difficult for the Bucks to justify trading him.

I agree 100% about waiting to deal Shved and /or Brewer(I would hate this). I'm hoping for Lawson, Knight would be freaking awesome, Dragic...enough has been said about how perfect that would be, and Collison would be a nice upgrade for the Rockets. If DM goes in a different direction(sends players and picks to Detroit for Monroe) and plays it safe by getting Calderon, it would still be a great get for us...Calderon is an offensive minded PG...great assist to TO ratio...lights out shooter from everywhere on the court(almost had a 52-43-91 season(didn't have enough FTs to qualify)...and likes to pass, and is great at running offenses. He's no star, but he's solid and dependable. Adding Monroe and Jose would be an 8.5 out of 10 for me if I'm scoring the trade deadline. Getting Lawson and Chandler would be a 9.... And trading for Dragic and Plumlee would be a 9.5....I have confidence in DM to help this team, assuming that other GMs will still take his calls.

Oh....and getting Knight and Henson/Sanders...that would be a 9.75---contender....maybe even a favorite to challenge the Dubs for the conference. We need a PG that makes Curry work on defense so that he isn't so fresh when running that team...Bev, I love ya, but you aren't cutting the mustard, buddy.

Larry Sanders right now for the Bucks is probably the most unmovable contract in the NBA. Nothing is 100% untradable (we saw Arenas/Rashard Lewis get traded afterall), but Sanders right now, with his situation, would be tough to trade. Unless the Bucks attached Gannis to the trade. LOL

Yeah, I know that things are messed up w Sanders.... But he's a beast when motivated...one can dream about Giannis on the Rockets!!
