I'm almost 100% certain we will acquire someone not listed here and 100% the option for acquiring no one is false. Just look at Terry and Papa's contracts...

Kevin Martin's contract is unacceptable. $6.8 mil in 2014-15, $7.1 mil in 2015-16, $7.4 mil in 2016-17. 0% chance Daryl Morey wants to pay a mediocre veteran backup that kind of money. Maybe if Ricky Rubio or Gorgui Dieng were attached. Also, Mo Williams is also a mediocrity, and not an upgrade over Jason Terry.

Luke Ridnour from Orlando ?? Cheap to acquire, cheap contract , solid if unspectacular player , only next season remaining and its a player option.

And therefore Thunder runs him out...why? Because he 'could use a change in scenery'?

Evans would go after DMo's nuts in practice. No thanks to that.

Agreed. That's why I think we will end up getting a John Henson type player.

Mo is a backup PG who can still heat up. He scored 52 points vs Indiana this season. He is a better passer than Bev and Terry.

The team to keep an eye on is the Orlando Magic. As someone has already mentioned, Luke Ridnour is another possibility.

I just keep going back to the Morey quote from a month ago "we cannot waste a season where we have the MVP of the league"

This is realistic...Denver needs an overhaul, we need a PG...they need a back to the basket threat....DMO provides that in spades, and the NO pick helps them get young talent.....and we get our PG of the future...that's locked up for a few years at a decent per year number. Win-Win.

That does give you insight. If anything I think morey has learned slot from the tmac Yao era. As players don't last forever. Today's the season to make a splash and by doing so it lures more players in free agency plus with Howard's injury who knows how that will play out
