That parking space thing is one of my biggest pet peeves. Like do people not see that they have two tires on the white line? The amount of ignorance in this world.

 

Its almost as if everything doesn't have to be a **** measuring contest...

 

He proceeds to argue with me more, putting his hands on me twice, pushing me away from him without me approaching him first. Then I popped his glasses and hat off his head (without actually touching him).

There's no reason to stand up the ENTIRE game. if you want to do that, get seats with the roudy kids section over there and sit with them. I'm as hardcore as you get, and I stand up when we sink 3's,dunks, and good shots, but I sit back down after the possession is over. So if im standing in front of someone its only for 10-15 seconds tops. and i sit back down.

 

Im going to the game tonight and have front row seats in the upper deck. I wish something would tell me to stand up when I cheer and stand. Im going to a playoff game too and they better not say anything either. Dont start nothin, wont be nothin

 

..and for the record Im like that poster who posted ahead of me. I only stand and cheer on sick dunks, when we go on a run and the other team calls a TO, or any play that is amazing. I havent had any problems with people telling me to sit down

 

For those of you who haven't been to the playoffs, it is totally a different atmosphere

 

So assuming that the facts are as presented, if you were the guy that yelled first, cursed first, and pushed first, you'd be going to jail for the guy in front of you cursing back and knocking the hat off your head? This is crazy. I just don't believe that you'd be yelling at the guy in front of you to sit in the first place when there's 2 minutes left in a close game. You are a Rockets fan. Why would any Rockets fan do that? Assuming that his child's sight is not blocked, this dude that confronted the OP is just being totally lame. Lower bowl people in Houston are just lame basketball fans relative to lower bowl people in San Francisco or NYC and various other NBA cities.

 

Maybe the solution is to take out all the seats so everyone have to stand. That way no more pu$$ies go to the games and only REAL fans will be there.

 

Ehhhh naaahhh...

 

People must have misread the story because other than questioning the veracity of the account (which is a legit argument), I don't understand the reasoning behind all the vitriol spewed towards the OP for retaliating against a cursing person who shoved him by knocking off his hat. OP was not the instigator a only responded in not the best way, but not a way more terrible than the grown man behind him. Also, it's just really lame that a man is yelling, cursing, and shoving the person in front him at a Rockets game just because said person stood up to cheer in the last 2 minutes of a close game.

 

Because he came to a message board to moan and gripe. Nobody likes a whiner, especially one who does so on the basis of gaining attention and social proof.
